It appears the restaurant has permanently closed
The veal parm is very good and the spaghetti texture is "best ever"! Its perfect al dente. However the pomodoro sauce is meager and "extra" is needed, at a cost of $2. Really?!?

We ordered an amazing salad with fresh greens from their local farm and it was delicious!! I had never had such unique flavors in a salad! Their handmade pasta was also delicious and tasted so fresh, and their focaccia bread was the best I've ever had. They have many unique gelato flavors and we loved the pistachio and lemon flavors. If I could give this restaurant 6/5 stars I would!
Vegetarian options: All the food we had was vegetarian and this is a great place for vegetarians to come looking for amazing Italian food!!

Veal parm was thick and chewy. Spaghetti was presented very nicely. There were 6 of us, and no one was happy.

Not old school traditional Italian. Modern, farm to table style. Excellent food and cool staff.

We visited two nights in a row. Everything we ordered came from their farm or was made in the kitchen. We’re definitely coming back on our next visit to Niagara-on-the-lake. Highly recommended.
Parking: You can park anywhere on the lot. It’s free.

It was an awesome evening with friends from Toronto. Alex was the greatest server, recommending drinks and food choices. I love the pink sofa where we were located. Have not been in that area of the restaurant. Food was great and will surely be back to try other items on the menu. Too bad, the lobster spaghetti was sold out, but will keep trying.
Vegetarian options: Farm to table cuisine with ability to change items to please vegetarian guests.
Parking: Lots of free parking especially after other businesses have closed for the day. Parking lot beside restaurant is very accessible.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and accommodated.

Visiting this region for the first time, we stopped here for dinner after a day of touring. The exterior may be deceiving, but the interior is a delightful contrast! We were charmed by the elegant decor and the aroma from the wood-burning pizza oven enhancing the atmosphere.
We ordered their Bolognese pasta and the cup-and-char pizza to share, leaving us both full and very satisfied with our Italian dining choice in this area.
Adding to the exceptional service, we arrived without reservations at a restaurant nearly 80% full. Our initial seating was directly under a ceiling fan, which was a bit too cool for my wife, who wore a light shirt. Despite the limited seating and reserved tables, the manager kindly adjusted the fan to its lowest setting, ensuring our comfort during our Italian meal. Our gratitude for this thoughtful gesture.
We highly recommend this place and will certainly return!

My friends and I travel up from the states 4-5 times a year explicitly to visit Ruffinos and drink Niagara wine. Ryan and co have put together an experience more thoughtful and flavorful than anything I’ve ever experienced elsewhere in the world. It’s worth a plane ticket to us, and I’d hope the same for anyone else fortunate enough to give Ruffinos a try. Special thanks to Jess and Leland who make every visit the best meal we’ve ever had.
