Strewn Winery

They cancelled our reservation without even notifying us. It was for a 67th anniversary for our 90 year old parents. We found out just by chance the day of as I called them to check on outdoor seating. Had I not called we would have driven 2 hours only to find the restaurant closed. When I sent a message asking for some follow up, no one even acknowledged my email. I sent a second email and still have heard nothing in response. Very disappointing. Will never go again.

Our tasting on Monday Aug 4th with Brian was excellent. He had a lot of interesting knowledge about the wines and the Niagara region in general. Great experience. Thanks.

Such a lovely experience! Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, the wine tasted delicious and it was super fun to try wines we’ve never heard of before. The complimentary sparkling wine at the beginning of the tasting was a nice touch too!

Very great service from the bar tasting. Friendly, knowledgeable and felt very personal. Highly recommend if a smaller more intimate visit is up your alley.

Great wine and great service. Our server was very knowledgeable. Only downside is the manager was mean to other customers about sitting during a tasting. But worth the visit.

We visited Strewn July 17th hoping for a wine tasting, but with no reservation previously made. We were a group of four. We were greeted at the door and offered two different levels for our tasting. We opted for the VIP one and it was an exceptional experience with Naomi. She was very knowledgeable and personable. It was good fun and we did not feel rushed. We all thought the Strewn wine selections were top-notch. We left with few bottles of wine to take home and some lovely wine glasses purchased in the shop. They have a nice selection of wine-related items. We will definitely return to Strewn when in the area again. It was a lovely wine experience.

We attended the white wine event, impressed by the wine and blown away by the personal touch by Jane and Joe. They sat and chatted with everyone.
Made the day especially special by bringing a delicious flourless piece of chocolate cake with candle for my dear friend’s birthday. A complete treat and surprise.

Very disappointed. Traveling from Ottawa to Niagara for wine touring. Our experience at Strewn wineries was quite disappointing. Started with a host who was very forceful and his main focus seemed to be upselling. We did opt to have a wine tasting but were less than impressed with the friendliness considering our experiences at many other vineyards. As a group of four every other winery willingly allowed us to share our samples between each couple with extra glasses. Our host would not even consider allowing us to do so. As a result we would not recommend this winery.

We walked in and immediately were greeted warmly by Michel. We purchased a wine tasting flight and had such an enjoyable (and educational) time. Michel was so knowledgeable about all the wines and the region. But most of all, the wine was fantastic and Michel’s company was delightful. We also talked with Juan and Naomi while we were there. We appreciated the personal attention - everyone made us feel “at home”. We purchased several bottles of wine to take home - we will definitely be back - and will bring our friends !
