Love the Olde Angel Inn! Cozy pub, very rustic, authentic experience - low ceilings, wood beams, warm and lively. Lots of fun when they have a band playing.
Very disappointed in the Angel Inn. I have been going there since 2018. The prices were good and the food portions were great. I especially liked the meatloaf dinner. I started to notice the portions shrinking and the prices going way up. $9 for onion soup went up to $14. A individual side of gravey is $3 and it tastes watered down!! That's not inflation that's just greed. I was there 2 weeks ago and ordered the meatloaf sandwich with extra mayo and they ended up charging me $2 for the extra mayo. I didn't take notice till after I already paid so I just let it go. I was there the other day with some friends around 12ish and we wanted to order the meatloaf dinner and was really annoyed when they told us they didn't have any. I ordered the beef dip sandwich instead which I have had before and enjoyed but this time when they brought it out I was not impressed at all. They had cut back 50% of the beef and the cheese on it. Prices are no longer good and they are nickle and diming everything so I no longer will be recomending them.
Olde Angel Inn !!! This place is great, awesome, fantastic, friendly. Cass is AMAZING!!! What a fun and friendly person with a great smile. Thank you Greg and Cass for making us feel at home. Haunted???
Everything went well until we noticed other’s seated just before us kept getting drinks and food. We got water, coffee and iced tea. We had to leave (45 min ant this point)we talked to the waitress & still had to wait to get our over 100.00 meal in takeout containers. Rushing out we realized they didn’t even have the forethought that we hadn’t eaten and had to go in to get cutlery. My husband asked the guy at cash for our cutlery and the reaction “give me a second”… instant regret for even paying for the food and tipping the waitress- will never return or recommend

If you want to experience the rudest “manager” in town, who bullies and physically threatens his own customers for literally no reason - this is the place for you!

I gave 1 star for rooms, but it's actually for the food.
Service was great, decent atmosphere. Fries were good, but the burgers we both had were so dry and overcooked. They need to be cooked less and for the price, the meat should be a bit better quality.
Also, why is the menu gigantic? You're a pub. Slim it down to a 1/4 its size and you'd have higher quality dishes with a lot less mediocre ones to worry about cooking. Just my advice from what I've seen of pubs with great food.

1st timer, the GM made room for us and put our favorite football team on the TV. The Meatloaf Wellington was off the chain!

My family, who has visited the Angle Inn pub many times as we live in Niagara on the lake, had a terrible experience today Nov 16 2024. We walked into a busy bar and proceeded to find some bar stools in the corner (as we have done in past). We were then scolded by a bar tender to remove ourselves from the corner and wait to be seated. The manner in which she spoke to us we found rude and abrasive and frankly unprofessional. This was done in a loud voice that drew the attention of many other patrons. We subsequently left the pub feeling embarrassed and upset. After this disappointing experience we no longer want to visit in future, nor recommend our guests to go.

I have enjoyed weekend getaways with friends to Niagara-on-the-lake for 10 years and every trip we go to the Inn for dinner and live music. And occasionally we’ve stayed at the inn and loved it. This trip the five of us visited the weekend of Nov 8 and enjoyed dinner on Friday and live music from the band Grand Theft Audio on Saturday night. The service was amazing especially considering how crowded it can get late night. The band was so much fun as was the crowd. For dinner we enjoyed the Greek salad, shepherd’s pie and steak & onion pie. I highly recommend checking out the Inn if you are looking for delicious pub food in a warm and welcoming space with the bonus of live music.

The food was really not very good. The fried fish was like eating a loaf of bread. My wife said the risotto had no parmesen and not enough mushrooms. Not even close to the best pub food in the world! I find it hard to believe the rating of this restaurant.

A neat pub, with a lot of character. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. Not a wheelchair accessible establishment as it is an old building and washrooms are located in the basement. I would definitely like to come back and try other menu items.
Walkability: Close to downtown Niagara-on-the

I’ve eaten here every time I’ve visited NOTL and recommend it to anyone I know that says that are going to the area. Amazing every single time! Great food and great atmosphere!
