Great pub! We stopped here for lunch during a wine tour for a bite and everything was delicious. We had the fish and chips and a pint. We sat on the patio in the back...great spot! Definitely will stop here again.
We stopped here for lunch after visiting Niagara Falls. The patio is large and inviting and dog-friendly, the music not too loud for conversation. There are plenty of servers. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. We ordered the roast beef sandwich and the steak and onion pie. The food was good, hot and well presented, and seemed fairly priced. The beer was cold and included some local selections, which I always appreciate. We enjoyed this stop.
Not your usual lackluster tourist fare. There is love in this old English inspired menu. I brought my English relatives to Niagara on the lake for the day and this was, according to them, the first decent meal they’d had in Canada over the week they’d been traveling.
