What a great night. This is not my first visit to Zees. Our golf foursome chose this restaurant for the proximity, the food, and the service. We were fortunate to have the same waiter (Sean) and all aspects of the evening weee as expected. The food, the wine, the ambiance were perfect. They have a section that is removed from the large dining area and is very quiet.
Great atmosphere in a classic NOTL restaurant. Food was delicious and the service was great.
It doesn't get any better than this. The ambiance, our server and the food was brilliant. We had the 'special' which included the prime rib and made it a great value. I would recommend Zees to anyone.
This restaurant is exceptional in food and service. Second time having dinner there. Previously had dinner and breakfasts. All excellent.
The food and service was fantastic. It was nice to sit on the porch and enjoy a relaxing dinner. Staff were very attentive.
Service was excellent. Food just seemed just OK. But they do have a nice patio and porch seating. Overall seemed a little bit expensive.

Really great food, service, and atmosphere. Laura was awesome! The duck confit is to die for and the charcuterie was a perfect sharing size :)

Food was very disappointing. Artisan bread basket had 2 types of old bread. Nothing artisan about it. Chicken was OK but lacking salt and the rice was not fully cooked. The lamb shank was actually really good and so was the prime rib. Overall the food was inconsistent. Service was timely and friendly. Atmosphere was OK. Prices were not unreasonable but the food did not justify the price. Closeness to the Shaw festival theatre is the best thing going for this place. Will probably look for other places to go next time we're in town.

Let me start by saying the service was outstanding! Kim our server was amazing!
However the food was literally the worst tenderloin I’ve ever had. Both my husband and I ordered the tenderloin and both of them were so tough it took 6 slices to cut and an entire minute to chew. My husband didn’t eat his at all and they removed it from the bill. I don’t like to complain so I ate just over half of it. For $63 it should’ve been amazing. We go to a lot of upscale restaurants and I’ve never been disappointed with a steak ever. I had high hopes.

Charming patio, wonderful service, and delicious food! Best prime rib my husband and I had in a while :) Can't wait to come back!

As someone who loves salt, I found the risotto not even editable due to the salt level. Another guest with me found the same. The dish with prawns and scallops should stand up in taste on its own without salt. Recommend for the chef to cut the salt.
For guests, we recommend the duck confit.

Such a huge disappointment. We planned a special occasion we waited 20 minutes before receiving a menue. My meal was terrible. I had the swordfish which was overcooked with a vinagery peach chutney. We were never offered a drink refill the entire time. This tourist trap was an epic fail. Such a disappointment

Killing time between shows at the Shaw Festival across the street, I settled into the compact bar area where bartender Carson took excellent care of me. So much so that I decided to stay for dinner and enjoyed a terrific scallop and shrimp risotto. I've already booked a stay at the adjacent Shaw Club Hotel for August. Can't wait!
