I had a seizure in store and before I even hit the ground, one of the employees raced out from behind the counter to help catch me and put me in recovery position! They were so sweet helping me up, and encouraging me to take my time, that there was no rush. One of the employees even bought me a pumpkin scone so that I could eat something sweet right away to help with my sugar levels. (Seizures are extremely draining & exhausting). Cobbs, you have some very kind employees working for you! 💕💕”

“No matter what you get when you visit, it's always going to be good, I've bought smoothies from there, coffee ,lunch and dessert, and most recently lunch . Everything I have gotten has been delicious, and always served to me with a smile, A few days ago I asked about raspberry fudge bars that I couldn't stop thinking about and was able to get a special order of them and picked them up today , fabulous, And all gluten free , which as a celiac is SO important 🩷”

“We have the owner as a waiter and he was fantastic. Engaging funny and knowledgeable. He's also the bartender and made us great drinks. I had some of the best fish and chips I've had literally ever I think. If I lived in North Bay I would definitely be back.”

“I walked in around 10 o’clock and ordered a small shrimp burrito. The staff were friendly, and the service was fast even though it was close to closing time. The burrito was fresh, warm, and flavorful — the shrimp were nicely cooked and seasoned, and everything tasted well balanced. A solid late-night bite!”

“Burgers at McKeown location were better than anything I ate at Au Pied de Cochon in Montreal, as well as at any Michelin rated French restaurants. The French & Quebecois should send emissaries to North Bay to find out the true secret to French fries. The owner Andrew is well known to be a superhero. I once saw him rescue a customer after a mime had bound the customer in invisible ropes. Using quick thinking, Andrew squirted ketchup on the bindings, making them visible before untying a relieved customer. Fantastique!”

“Laurentian Burger, Traditional Poutine, Pogo, Grilled Cheese and Chicken Fingers and fries all tested - two thumbs up! Great food and great service!”

“There are some downsides, when its busy the service slows down exponentially, and after your second round of orders expect additional waiting times. Despite the wait times, if you time your orders, or make one large order, things come staggered and are nice and hot. The rolls are delicious, and always lovely and fresh. The sashimi is delicious, though selection is limited. I have NEVER been sick from this sushi restaurant. The experience does vary quite a bit from time of day, day of the week, and just each time you go. Usually its good, sometimes not so much. Also, they are a little stingy with the sauces and portions, during all you can eat. This can be very offputting but has the added bonus that you can try more foods. Plus you can always just order more! P.S. If you order 10 different ice cream portions, expect the servers to put them into groups of type of ice cream. They dont know whos ice cream is whos. Too many idiots giving the servers heck for that.”
