Had dinner tonight there for my son and daughter birthday, the starters duck wings, calamari and dips platter were delicious and so was the mains salmon special of the day, pasta etc. Service was very attentive to the allergies we mentioned. Thanks
I went to Average Joe’s for dinner and really enjoyed it. Starting with dessert, the lava cake was massive for $11 and the deep-fried ice cream was also a huge portion for the same price. Personally, I didn’t love the texture of the coating on the ice cream, but the size and value were impressive. For my meal, I had the two-piece fish and chips—very large portions where one piece would be enough for most people. Everything was tasty and satisfying. The atmosphere was great...
The food and location are great. It's a fairly unique restaurant in the sense that you can boat up to it from Trout Lake, leave your boat at their docks and come in for a meal. There isn't too much parking for vehicles. I would suggest making a reservation before going. There food is good but I think their menu is too small. The service was good. I'd say expect to spend a little more than usual on dinner. Very good though!
