Gangnam Korea - North Bay

First time visiting Gangnam Korea and it will not be my last everything was incredible. The food was so fresh, made with care and had such amazing vibrant flavours the spice was so well blended like a hug from your beloved grandmother. I would highly recommend giving this place a try I had the Friday night buffet.

It was so amazing!! The owner was very very kind and nice. Also all foods are so delicious.
If I have a chance I want to go one more time. Plus their Gangnam Korea character was so fun and interesting.

Excellent experience.. owner is one amazing Lady!

I’ve eaten at this restaurant numerous times and have always enjoyed the food. I decided to try the buffet and was incredibly disappointed. The selection of food was good however all the food I chose was cold and fairly blend. It appeared that most of the food had been sitting for some time. The server never came to check on the table and forgot the waters. I had to ask two separate employees for pickled radish as it was empty at the buffet. I will definitely not be back for the buffet.

They have best boba in town, all flavors, the best. We keep coming back here , the owner is so friendly. It reflects to her staff, they give good customer service😊

As promised, we paid this restaurant a visit again it never failed to amaze us. We tried their gangnam couple and the serving should be enough for 2 but it can feed like 4 people tbh! The food was so good (as expected) and they even made renovations which made the restaurant so spacious. The chairs are so chic, I love it! The staff are all friendly and accommodating. We will visit again for sure and oh they now have buffet which looks so promising. Gonna try it next time we stopped by.

The buffet is not worth the price that they're charging. It's small they have like onion rings and fries on it we don't go to an Asian buffet to see American food. They need more Asian food more types of veggies more types of noodles and their race was overcooked for being in the dishes for so long. Don't do the buffet it's small and not worth it we paid almost $100 with tip and we're very very disappointed the only thing that was good was their sesame chicken and their one noodle dish

The food started off great but I found a hair in my beef bulgogi about 2/3rds through my meal :(

Always a warm welcome coming in through these doors. Excellent food and you get more than what you pay for imo.

If you're afraid of spice, try their honey butter chicken. Dry seasoned chicken with a sweet and savory taste, excellent crispy crunch.

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing owner, would strongly recommend everyone support this amazing business! And the Karaoke room was the cherry on top of a wonderful visit. <3

Ate at the buffet to try it with my girlfriend. We both ended up sick throwing up. Chicken in a few dishes were pink and slimy. When I told them about our unsatisfied visit they made us pay full price and didn't notify the manager. After calling the manager/owner personally. We met with the manager/owner we got attitude saying how long have you been here? We were there for about an hour or so and got asked you got sick from my food? Like my food? As if it were an insult we have pictures to show the meat was undercooked this is when we were told it can't be because it was dark meat which undercooked chicken thats visibly pink and slimy is undercooked chicken. Then while getting the refund she was still making comments like how xould it have been thire food in sarcastic condescending tone. Not eating here for awhile unsatisfied with the service given. Food not up to par and feel sick and treated like garbage.

Ordered Tteok-bokki , and Udon noodles.

It was $45 with 15% tip. The portions were ridiculously small for just rice noodles, sauce, green onion, and very few vegetables. It was tasty but not enough to be considered a meal. The Tteok-bokki had 7 rice noodles for almost $20 dollars 💸 these are appetizer or tapas sized portions.

Korean restaurants we frequent in Barrie, and Toronto are easily double the portions with more ingredients.
