This place truly feels like home. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and authentic food remind me so much of Korea!!!
Update: I recently tried 내장탕 (pork intestine soup), and it was amazing! It’s such a rare find in Canada, and it’s quickly become my absolute favourite comfort food ❤️❤️❤️ I’ll definitely be coming back soon😊 it’s the perfect dish for fall and winter!

My boyfriend loves this place. He introduced me to this place. Weve tried a few different things on the menu but the Busan Style soup is the best one by far, its delicious. It is a bit cold inside initially (i think the AC is always on maybe on purpose, not too sure) but after eating and drinking the soup i get warmed up so its fine after. Its a nice cute spot for authentic Korean Stew/Soup

This place reminded me of a warm, down-to-earth 밥집 (local-style Korean eatery) spot in Korea. The simple interior, cozy vibe, welcoming service, and delicious food truly ease the feeling of being away from home.

We were looking for SSAM-thing hearty, so we found this spot😍Spicy Squid & Pork SsamBap had a ton of Squid and Pork Belly slices, cooked in a Gochujang-based Sauce, it came with Lettuce, Steamed Cabbage, Perilla Leaves for you to wrap it up, Soy Bean Paste Soup and Rice, what a SATISFYING dish! We also got their Busan Style Pork Soup, it came with cuts of Pork Belly in a Broth that was extremely RICH in Pork flavour, incredibly comforting!

We visited this restaurant during evening walking. We ordered ssam bap (쌈밥), which is a traditional authentic Korean dish with small dishes together. The meal is prepared well, clean and delicious with good mannered services. How i haven't noticed this restaurant!! We will visited again.

First, I’m admitting the food is decent. Then, let’s talk about service. For the record, this is at around 1-2pm, 1/11/2025. The one and only lady server was serving us. I was late so that when I arrive, my other friends were almost done with 2 rounds of side dishes(3 small plates each round), we asked for another round, and she rudely refused us. We ordered 5 main total, I don’t understand why when there ware two ppl, they could order two rounds of side dish and the four of us could only have the same. My friend told me when they started to order, the server was impatient, they were hesitating for a couple sec whiling ordering, the server was very impatient and said “call me again when you are ready”. When we asked for the bill, she came and asked “how was everything?” We were pretty surprised, she did not realize we were pretty unhappy for the service. If you don’t mind being given attitude, please come. Regardless of how good the food is, we are not coming back. I’d rather it’s all self serve. If she’s the owner or representing the owner, I have nothing to say. If she’s just a server, please let her know. Terrible, terrible service.
I ate meat bibim noodles and ssambap. The taste was okay, but the amount of meat noodles was very small. Usually, I can't eat the entire portion at other restaurants, but here I was hungry even after eating a whole bunch.

Favorite restaurant… There is no place in Canada where soup tastes so good. And not only the pork soup but also the side dishes are really... They're all alive. Stir-fried kimchi, seaweed stems, and odeng are served just like this. You really can't miss every single one. Haha. Everything is delicious. The side dish has a very spicy taste, but it goes well with the white rice soup. My aunt’s cooking is the best... 🤍 + But I also tried kimchi stew and it wasn’t that good. My friend said that ssambap is delicious, so I hope you try the guaranteed pork soup and ssambap first!
