We had a mixed experience at Café Landwer this time. The Veal Schnitzel with crushed potatoes was disappointing overly fatty, full of oil, and the crushed potatoes were low quality. However, the Schnitzel Parmesan Pasta was delicious and of very good quality. We also ordered pizza from the kids menu for our son, and unlike most restaurants where kids menu items are lower quality, the kids pizza here was on par with the main menu, which was impressive.
The Mezza Platter we tried was good overall, though one of the items was unavailable, and they offered replacements, which we appreciated. The fried items (veal schnitzel, potatoes, and fries) were all low quality, but everything else we had was enjoyable.
Surprisingly, it was very quiet for a weekend, but the staff were helpful and kind, and the service was good overall. Café Landwer is worth visiting, but I’d recommend steering clear of the fried items.

This cafe has a very nice ambiance. Go with friends or family to enjoy a hot cup of coffee. I had falafel patty burger which was really amazing. Patty was fresh and even fries were good.
Vegetarian options: You get vegetarian options as well.
We enjoyed our late lunch in this airy and sunny place on the last day of summer. The food was delicious and service was top notch. We will certainly return to try their other dishes.
