Very cool spot for some Korean BBQ.It was my first time doing Korean BBQ and Daldongnae did not disappoint. My partner and I had heard of this place from many articles that had been praising the service and food. The atmosphere feels like you’re stepping into a spot that resembles many small restaurants that I’ve visited in Asia.Staff was quick, attentive, and helpful. The food was great and not overly expensive. It was a great dining experience to add into the mix of our regular spots.The staff gave us a great glass noddle dish to try as they were testing it out, we absolutely loved it and hope that they add it to their menu.Parking: There is a small parking lot around the back of the building. We didn’t have trouble getting a spot there, but there are limited spaces available.

Our family of 4 definitely enjoyed this splurge! It was not too crowded on a Saturday for lunch. Note that the entrance is at the back, but there will be signs directing you towards it.There are unlimited sides for most of the grill options and I appreciated the guide at the table explaining what each one was and how to best enjoy your meal. There is a minimum order of 1 portion of meat per person if you want to get the grill, and some of the meat options require a minimum order of 2 portions. The quality of the meat was very good, and portion sizes were adequate considering all of the additional sides that you get.Other than the grill, would highly recommend the seafood pancake, so crispy and flavorful! One of the best I've had.

We went two weeks ago, and there was grease or something black on the chair . I sat down and didn't realize this grease and it ruined my pants I was told I would get a message to cover dryclean I didn't get anything and when I called back they said they will get back to me and they didn't. My pants cost 63 dollars and now I need to buy a new one. Watch out and make sure the place is clean. Very bad service, no respect for people or owning to their own fault.

We were a group of four, we ordered two sojus, three beers, and three bbq entrees , knowing we would order more later (really wish we didn't)After server hears all of our order, interrupts us and says "Uh you need to have one per person"Yes I know - but in the mean time, ordering the extra $60 in alcohol doesn't give us time?And then when it came time to pay - we asked if they took cash , mainly because one of us didn't have card. Instead of saying yes - server says "No discount on cash" - LOL? We didn't ask for a discount, we just wanted to know whether you took cash or just card?Yeah - that's the last time i'll be coming here. Maybe other locations are still 'good' but this location is severely suffering. You can look at some other reviews here and they comment on the same type of service.

This was my favorite korean bbq place. Unfortunately, on my last visit, after sitting for half an hour at the table and studying the menu, upon ordering, we were told that there should be one main course ordered per person. We were a group of 4 girls, and we did not eat that much. It was not a pleasant experience and could be avoided. I certainly did not like the waiteress attitude about this new rule at the restaurant.

I finally got a chance to try this place. I know they have a few locations, but the one we went to had great service and food. The staff was so lovely and really paid attention to our needs. We had a child with us as well so we luckily were able to bring the stroller in with us (although we had the back area that is some what separated from the rest of the restaurant. The food / meat was very good and the side dishes were also delicious! I'm glad I listened to the reviews and got the recommended meats. (Pork Belly, Beef Chuck Steak, Short Ribs, Tenderloin). It is not all you can eat, but honestly the amount of meat we ordered for four people, along with three entrees, it was more than enough. The staff were super attentive and as an added bonus, the music selection was great :)! However, just know that parking was a little hard, and there's no entrance on the side facing yonge. We didn't have to make reservations, but it may be a good idea for the future! Definitely will be back.

Not being from Toronto, we went to the Scarborough one and loved it so much we came here the next day. And it did NOT disappoint.Delicious in exactly the same way so they for sure have the consistency down pat, even with the sides. Service was attentive and they were quick to bring whatever it was that we had asked for.Highly recommend if you’ve never been.

Super cozy environment and delicious food. This is our fav Korean bbq restaurant and we always enjoy a good time there. Not only the meat quality is good but also their side dishes are amazing. You can get free refill on side dishes and the staff are super nice. 10/10
DALDONGNAE is one of our comfort food BUT today December 30, 2023 at around 2 PM, the customer service in this location has gone bad. There was only 2 servers one Male and one Female. We were in a group of 6 including 1 child age 7 years old. When we were ordering, we want to order 4 meats (given the high increased amount of each meat). We were told by the Male server that it needs to be atleast 5 meets cause we were 6 people (the child didnt even enjoy the food, didnt eat well at all and we had to order her jollibee afterwards).We didn’t have any problem ordering 5 meats but the main problem here is the customer service. While ordering the meats, rice, we asked if it still comes with the complimentary soup (as usual) we requested two as we were 6 so we can share fairly. We keep on reminding him about our order but just ignored and keep forgetting it. I observed that soups are coming for the other table, but not on us. its annoying cause we didnt get ours right away and we came first! He even treated the asked other guest if they needed something but never bothered to ask and report to what we have ordered and needed. He saw our grilled burning and lack of refills, even forgot to add egg at first, Yet the only thing he did was adjusted the stove but never even offered to ask us to what has been lacking or what we needed, both of the servers didn’t take initiative and show willingness to ask us any. We asked the servers but acted that they forget, and just ignored us completely.Water were never refilled. And to add to this, we reminded regarding the soup atleast 5 times but end up getting only one soup after we were done eating.Hopefully next time they’ll be more responsive, and offer proper customer service, to have willingness and take initiative for their guests. We understand your tired but people are there to eat and enjoy and not to be treated unfairly.I will not recommend this location.
