For ~$13 you get a 2 small jerk chicken pieces with rice and peas. Chicken has a nice spicy jerk flavour. However the rice was a shame. Tasted so dry and hard like I was eating quinoa. Steamed veggies were bland but I guess they were at least cooked. The bbq chicken I bought at least came with 3 pieces but was mid. If you are gonna be eating their rice I suggest throwing as much extra sauce you can on it. At least the jerk sauce was nice and spicy.
Working on a hydro project in the area. I think I’ve eaten here almost every day in the month of December. Everything is ready so if you are working in the area, you won’t spend your lunch hour waiting for your food. just make sure you get in before 2-3 or else you’ll be outta luck for wings! #1 spot in the Jane and Shoreham area.
Best Jamaican food in the city! Food is Always fresh, made daily and hot. They have a really good lunch special too! I always order their Soup it’s made daily! Chef is really nice and welcoming. Highly recommend
