I accompanied a friend who requires a wheelchair, and the museum and restaurant were fully accessible. All the doors are automatic, and the staff were so kind as to accompany us via a shortcut to the to the parking lot. The galleries were not at all crowded on a Tuesday afternoon, and the restaurant was moderately busy with excellent, attentive service.
This was my second time dining at Diwan. My first experience was a number of years ago. There was four of us for lunch. We each ordered a cocktail prior to ordering our food. The cocktails took a very long time to arrive. All four were tasty and nicely garnished when they did arrive. Two guests had the shrimp curry, my husband had the salmon and I had the chicken biryani. Food was very nice and prices were not excessive. I found the spice level modest - perhaps tailored for less tolerant palettes such as mine. Better descriptions for those less familiar would help; also staff were misleading when asked about size of dishes.
