My parents and I have been buying delicious Uruguayan food from the Emporio for nearly 30 years. Especially during the Christmas time, we enjoy the sandwiches, the empanadas, and the pastries. This is a tradition in our home.
Their Argentinian posters y alfajores are pretty authentic. The empanada de carne was very good and the prices are very reasonable. It certainly is a good place to get your cravings satisfied.
I love their meringue cakes with peaches and dulce de leche. Ordered one for my birthday and everyone was very nice. I got my own HBD sign because I know the cake can't be decorated. The lady inside gave me another HBD sign just in case I have problems inserting mine. Their empanadas are also really good.
