I went with a friend for breakfast this morning (Jan. 13/26) and was impressed with the food (omelette, home fries, rye toast), the service and the cleanliness of the place. This is the 4th or 5th time I've been to Hazel's over the years and I've been happy with it every time. A bit pricier than before - $50 for two of us before tip - but restaurants everywhere are getting more expensive. I thought it was great value for money
It’s been awhile since I last went to Hazel’s Diner.
So I insisted me and my husband should go this afternoon .
Now they have new looking menus but some options are not clear: like the Benny on Pancakes? It looks like you ask for the Benedict with salmon on regular English muffin bread and the pancakes. Come a part (that’s what the waitress explained when asked. She later apologized for not checking to make it clear).
And when you go to a Diner...

I've eaten there twice. First time the burger was amazing, ground fresh and well made. Second time not do much. So depends on who's in the kitchen I suppose. Service is exceptional though. Quick, friendly and on point. There's a nice diner feel to the place.
