My family and I are big fans of Ghana Bread; however, the ingredient list includes "...,vegetable oil, shortening or margarine,..." which means the shortening is either vegetable oil based (most likely this was meant) or simply 'shortening' which could infer animal fat shortening (or lard). Pig fat shortening is not part of the diet for many Muslims & Jews. Repeated, polite calls to to the bakery for clarification have been met with the same answer "the owner is not around..."...read full review
Fresh ghanaian bread, turkey tail and other stuff. Pretty great but the place was extremely hot and I walked out with my cloths smelling like fried fish. Would be nice if there was a separate area to purchase the food.

Best place to grab a loaf of Ghana bread (sweet bread) for cheap. I’ve been going here for yearsss. Of course they need an upgrade but they’re there to make their food and make money. Capitalizing is not the main goal for them, the food is. Hidden gem for sure! Love it
