I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The place was extremely dirty, and the food was absolutely awful. None of the ingredients seemed fresh, and I couldn’t even finish my meal. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My lady had a craving for fish , I called and ordered 2 full steamed red snappers , it came with veggies, Okra, carrots, potatoes, and on side , beans /rice , , wow , she loved 🥰 the dinner , healthy and filling and delicious, we will take out again 👍🏽

the foods good. I only order from here through door dash, but I've never had a complete order from this location. ive ordered now 3 times with 2 times them not addressing the notes of providing hotsauce on the side an now I just got my3rd time order....lol they finally read my notes for hot sauce but forget my drink. As a business owner and understanding logistics, while the food is good there is clear lack of processes and procedures here. perhaps consider new management? SOPs and processes will take you far with a good product

I don't have a picture, because I ate it before I could get one. But the way they handled this ackee and saltfish, is top tier! The fried dumpling, was delicious not over fried, not tough, just perfect! The chef knew what they was doing 👏. I will be ordering again.

I was referred to this restaurant by the venue I used for my baby shower. I have to say it’s been a WHILE I’ve gone to a Jamaican restaurant and the food was giving Sunday cooking. From the ackee n salt fish to the stew chicken..bbq fried….goat…and Rasta pasta. Everything was perfect, all people who don’t love goat kept asking who made it. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food, this is definitely the spot to try out. Pablo and his wife
dealt with me proper, and I’ll definitely be back to support.

I have been going to L&P Village Green probably close to a year now. Its the best Jamaican restaurant I have experienced in Toronto. The food is consistently good, flavourful and authentically Jamaican. When I discovered that ackee & saltfish, boiled ground provisions like yellow yam and green bananas are on the menu everyday, that was a game changer for me. Laverne makes the best steamed fish too! When I ate their food the first time and didn't feel sick after, I rejoiced! They make their own seasonal juices too including sorrel, pineapple, mango/carrot and june plum juices. Soooo good! Wonderful staff! Excellent service! Any menu choice is worth every penny! Go to this restaurant when you are craving the real taste of Jamaica. Like me, you will probably become a customer for life. You will not be disappointed!
