Tale of two sandwiches.

Why can't things be done properly. This location was super dirty and to top it all of when I got home and opened my order, this is what I saw.

I guess since its only 4.99 today, it's okay that it looks like this.

It also tastes as bad as it looks. Chicken is so dry, barely any mayo in it. U

I did have to wait for a little bit, but she was very friendly and make sure I got one I wanted.

I came here and honestly worst service I’ve ever had at a Mary browns. The girl who’s at the front has a terrible attitude standing with her arms crossed huffing and puffing while I’m ordering. I asked her a question and she’s giving me attitude as if I’m stupid for asking. She then gave me the wrong order and then started arguing with me saying that’s what i ordered while she’s standing there with her AirPod in I said maybe you didn’t hear me cause you’re here with the AirPod in and she stopped arguing back with me

While I was here with a friend we came across a worker named Inder and she was the best! I was ment to write this review over a year ago and seen a reminder I wrote in my notes and got to it right away. This just goes to show that she gave us excellent service, like the fact that I still remember her. Give her a raise/promotion yall!!

I usually love this place, but I was totally shocked with my latest trip there! Dry chicken in the sandwiches, almost no lettuce or sauce and I’m pretty sure the buns are smaller, too. One spicy Big Mary had extra spicy mayo (had 2 dots of mayo…I’m not kidding) and another had only one dot!
I’m hoping that this experience is a one-off, because if it happens again I’m not going back.

I ordered a 2 piece meal spicy the lady gave me regular chicken. I told her I ordered spicy and she tried to give me the spicy powder and told me to put it on. I asked her to just make the chicken over, I didn’t come to buy food to prepare it myself. She takes the chicken in the back and just dumps spicy sauce all over it. I went to this place on Feb 7 2026 at 8:30pm. I had to just tell them to give me my money back. It’s been my worst experience at Mary browns and I been eating at different ones for over 30 yrs

I ordered three chicken thighs with Honey BBQ from the Mary Brown’s location at 3199 Dufferin St, Toronto. Unfortunately, the chicken was very dry and clearly not fresh. The Honey BBQ sauce would not even stick to the chicken, which strongly suggests the chicken had been made a long time ago and left sitting. The order was simple and clearly communicated, yet it was not prepared properly. This was disappointing and raises concerns about food quality and freshness. Based on this experience, customers should be cautious when ordering from this location. There appears to be a need for better food handling, freshness standards, and staff training. Canada 🇨🇦 has changed, and customers expect better quality and consistency. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves this location.

Everytime it snows and the following days of snowfall avoid this place. As per one of the employees I spoke said the owners refuse to pay $300 for snow plowing. You know what happens? They leave the snow like its nothing mind you they ignore 20cm of snow and leave it unplowed for the parking lot to be slippery and icy. If the owners are too cheap to even have a safe walking area or parking lot for its patrons I wonder how else they are cutting corners within the restaurant.
