On Saturday I had the pleasure of dining at Mumbaiker Indian Restaurant along with my wife, and it was an experience to remember. The food was nothing short of amazing, with flavors that transported me back to my childhood and the local delicacies I used to enjoy. The service was impressively fast, ensuring that we never had to wait long for our meals. A special mention goes to our waitress, Teneja, who was incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout our visit. Her warm and attentive service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. I highly recommend Mumbaiker Restaurant for anyone looking to indulge in some finger licking delicious Indian (Mumbai) food and exceptional service.

Overall food was good, Vada pav had that authentic Bombay taste. Although some starters like the Sev Puri/Pani Puri could've been better. Service was excellent. Our server Mrunmayee was very polite, kind and helpful. Very impressed overall. Highly recommended if you're in the Uptown/ Yonge&Lawrence street area.

Highly disappointed! Arrived at 10 pm, well before the stated 10:30 pm closing, yet we were refused service with the excuse that the kitchen shuts 45 minutes early. Misleading hours and terrible customer service—won't be returning.

Ordered triple schezwan from here, and it was so bland. 1 star is what it deserves. Not what a mumbaikar would want. Pass on this place.

Tried this place again: If you want food with the cheapest quality of ingredients, this is the place for you!!

Ordered again after a friend said, "Let's give them another chance: the quality of the rice was the worst thing I've ever experienced. Cheap, bad quality. Lowest of the lows. I wouldn't give it another try.

Take out is worse than dine in. Because of obvious reasons.

The best Mumbai food from India is here, both locations have equally great food. Their Thalis are great and triple schzewan rice was extremely delicious. 10/10.

We tried the Surmai fish thaali and pav bhaaji. The food was good. We have also tried their vada pavs once earlier; which were okay. The green chutney they serve is nothing like what vada pavs are served with usually but it's taste was decent. The Malvani in me can approve the fish preparations. However, a couple of things, firstly, the pav bhaaji was served almost cold, not even warm, and secondly, there was barely any service. There was just one girl running around. It took them 10 mins to take an order and we had to wait again to place a repeat order. So maybe order in instead of dine in.

We tried 3 thalis and gobi manchurian.
Veg, chicken and mutton.

Requested waiter to swap dessert with extra chapati/roti which she agreed.

* Best roti/ chapati I had in canada
* lamb curry pieces were inconsistent and undercooked. I felt meat was not properly cooked and it was bit cold.
* best daal tadka.
* disappointed with egg curry because they added this as second non veg curry to the thali, after searching in google and chatgpt got to know that egg is vegetarian.
* rice portion was less. We ordered extra rice.

Gobi manchurian was semi gravy type.
Few pieces were inconsistent again felt if they cooked little bit longer would have been good. Not a fan of semi gravy but taste was really good.

Ambience is really nice.

By far, the best Maharashtrian and one of the best Indian restaurants in Toronto. If you’re bored of ordering the same items at run-of-the-mill Indian restaurants, visit them for a different variety of lip-smacking dishes!

Beautifully decorated restaurant with comfortable seating and amazing food.
Everything was freshly made and tasted like homemade. I think we had the owner serve us and he was friendly and accommodating for our spice levels. Very attentive as well.

Vegetarian options: We had a veggie Thali for a late lunch. They had a paneer curry and amazing dal as part of that. And fresh chapatis.
