A hopping place on Yonge St. Great stop in for lunch or dins. The specials board is creative and the menu has solid, well put together plates. Smoked salmon appetizer… to die for, and burgers cooked how you like them! A thoughtful kitchen with creative ideas and elevated standard fare. Not your average pub!
The Abbot Pub, located on Yonge St. near Golfdale Rd in the Yonge/Lawrence area has been serving gastropub fare for many years. They have the pub classics as well as have weekend brunch as well. The interior is classic English pub style where it likely hasn't changed for a while now. They have many drinks (beers and alcohol) offered as well that is listed on their special boards. When you walk in, it looks like a typical dive pub. However, the staff are well above exceptional. The food is the best pub food around. It's top quality with amazing presentation.
