food was great but overall disappointed with the service, was forcefully asked to give a tip. once the bill was paid the server came back asked why we didn’t tip. i had given her a $5 cash and was taken off of my hands right away😭. i was like bruh??? she didn’t even hesitate😂😂

ordered it on Ubereats and what am I received, A FLYYYYYY????? They even brought me WRONG order

Delicious food and many side dishes. The portions are really good. I had the soondubu and gamjatang. The gamjatang was so filling, and the biggest portion I’ve had so far.

Thursday night dinner at 7:30p for a group of four, no waiting for a table. Wasn’t busy at all, we left at 9p and only a handful of tables were occupied.

Food was served hot and tasty, Korean sides are always welcome and unlimited. Two servers were busy, a third would have sped up service for tea, water, side dish refills.

Green P parking lot in the back, we paid flat rate $6.50 after 7p.

Bathroom is down the stairs into the basement.

We are repeat customers. The food is flavorful and tasty. Our favorites are Sundubu Jjigae(spicy tofu stew), Tonkatsu meal, Jajangmyeon etc.

One of the few OGs remaining in Yonge and Finch area. I can still remember regularly eating here when I was still living in the area. The restaurant has made numerous advances, such as discarding paper menus and opting for electronic menu tablet on every table, but their handy button to summon for service remains, thankfully.

The side dishes were great, and they paired well with the entrees. I love their kimchi and cucumber salad. The menu offers regular Korean dishes with minor varieties, so diners have options to customize their favourites. The kalbi bibimbap was good, well seasoned, with generous kalbi included. I ordered kimchi gamjatang, which came with three pork bones and plenty of kimchi on top. The soup was pretty good, and the pork was tender.

During my visit, there was only one server handling the whole floor, so we had a hard time getting service despite the handy summon button, but given the labour restriction, it was understandable. I'm just glad that the restaurant survived the pandemic and is going strong.

Disappointed by the decline.
This used to be one of my favorite Korean spots pre-pandemic, generous banchan, comforting soondubu, and decent service. But things have changed and not for the better. The quality has noticeably dropped, rice portions are stingy (especially with soup-based dishes like soondubu jigae), and they now automatically tack on a mandatory 15% tip. It feels less about hospitality and more about capitalizing on their prime Yonge and Finch location. Sad to say, but I won’t be coming back.

15% mandatory gratuity/tip added onto our TOTAL food bill including tax because we ordered one makgeolli. Not a good feeling especially since we were a small group of 4 people and we were not warned about the restaurant's rule of paying mandatory tip on top of tax prior to ordering food.

It was really disappointing that they forcefully charged us 15% gratuities on top of tax for a party of 4. That was unjustified.
