Tried this restaurant during Summerlicious. The set menu included an appetizer, main, and dessert — everything tasted authentic and was nicely prepared. Portions were just right and the price felt fair. Overall, a good experience and worth checking out.

My husband and I recently dined at Cucina di Paisano and had a wonderful experience. The garlic bread was a standout—perfectly baked, with cheese evenly distributed in every bite instead of just clumping in the first. It was delicious from start to finish. The Shirley Temple was surprisingly refreshing and well-made too.

For lunch, we ordered the Mediterranean Pasta and Eggplant Parmigiano—both were full of flavor and served in generous portions. We spent around $20–$30 per person just on food, which felt like great value for the quality.

But what truly made the visit memorable was the incredibly kind and humble staff member who helped us. In my 10 years of living in Toronto, I haven't come across someone so down-to-earth. We had our newborn with us, and this gentleman not only helped us pack our food but did it with such care and skill—it genuinely left an impression. I regret not asking his name, but he was truly exceptional.

The food and ambiance are fantastic, and as lovers of Italian cuisine, we were surprised we hadn’t heard of this gem before. It didn’t come up easily in online searches—my husband found it by chance, and we decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did, and I think many others would be too, if they knew about it.

Today was our second time coming here and we absolutely loved it. We got the Caesar salad which was a huge hit, the kids cheese pizza which my son devoured and the chicken parmigiana. Our server Ghazal was really sweet and attentive. Better service than the last time we came.

We will for sure be back soon!

The best way to describe the food is "elevated mall Italian food" with table service. The service was good, but unfortunately the kitchen was uninspired.

The antipasto was ok, and the prosciutto and salami were not the star of the show. The grilled vegetables were of better quality. The grilled calamari was under seasoned and poorly cut. The rings were really thick and I suspect they were thawed from a bag of frozen squid rings.

The veal scaloppini was ok. The shrimp and scallop pasta in olive oil and garlic sauce was unimpressive. The scallops were overcooked and the shrimps were not of the best quality.

The caprese salad was quite disappointing. The tomatoes were not ripe enough, but the balsamic glaze was ok. However, instead of multiple slices of tomatoes interspersed with slices of cheese, the dish came with 4 slices of tomatoes topped with tiny slices of mozzarella balls, on top of a bed of shredded lettuce and tiny bits of cucumber. Instead of an elegant yet uncomplicated gem of a salad, we got a franken-caprese that vaguely resembled a caprese.

Not to put down an acceptable family-focued restaurant, Paisano is quite similar to Olive Garden.

We have been celebrating family birthdays there recently. We made a reservation and they easily accommodated our party of 9. The service was exceptional. Very attentive and friendly. The food came out quickly and was delivered to the table all at the same time. The menu is extensive with something for everyone (many vegetarian options). A variety of meals were ordered (Salmon, pasta and pizza (& wine & garlic bread for the table)). Everyone was very happy with their meals. Food quality was far better than any of the large chain restaurants and a far better value.
We had a nice family celebration Pisaonos. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. With small modifications, vegan options too.

Parking: Large parking lot. Very busy in the evenings. You'll find parking, you may have to park around the corner and walk. ( lots of parking in the back of the plaza) There are handicapped spots directly in front of the restaurant.

Kid-friendliness: Highchairs are available.

Everything was so delicious and the service was delightful. The food was very flavourful and definitely something I loved. Paisanos was also very clean. I got the Chicken Alfredo and the Chicken Pesto Pizza and it was very flavorful. The service overall was amazing from attention to giving recommendations and suggestions for mains and desserts to coming and check on our needs for water or additional sauces/oils. Not to not mention the impressive Michaelangelo painting of Creation of Adam. Totally recommend coming and indulging at Paisano's!!
