I used to come here regularly, but after today, never again. I parked in the lot behind the restaurant to meet a friend for lunch. She hadn’t arrived yet and was walking over, so I told the staff I was waiting on someone. As I tried to walk around to the front entrance to meet her on the sidewalk, a staff member suddenly yelled at me asking “how many.” I explained I was waiting for a friend—before she even started yelling—but she completely ignored that and insisted I go back through the rear entrance. She wouldn’t even let me walk through the front door to meet my friend outside.
It was rude, controlling, and totally unnecessary. If this is how they treat returning customers, I have no interest in coming back. My friend and I went elsewhere and had a much better experience. This place isn’t worth your time—especially when the staff have no sense of basic courtesy or common sense.
Great dishes, the soup was really delicious
Dine in is awesome, you get 3 side dishes and staff is friendly.
However when you order online through uber etc. you only get 1 side of kimchi.
And today I ordered 2 Kamjatang and it only came with 1 rice and 1 Kimchi. Maybe the rice was a mistake but seriously 1 side dish or kimchi for 2 orders ?
Food was great but staffs are ungrateful and will ruin it for everyone. They will do everything to make you feel unwelcome if you don’t tip or tip a small amount. Basing on my own experience, they returned my $5 tip just because they think they deserved more. Ended up leaving $35 tip and they took it but some staff still made a side eye.
Been going here for about 2 years now, their pork bone soup is to die for as its so yummy and flavorful
Always a place of comfort
I've lived in this hood for twenty years and it's still one of my favourite restaurants. The service isn't amazing but the food and the pricing are really unmatched. Love you Minerva 💞

Simply soul satisfying Delicious. Got a cold or feeling stuffy!! The spices will clear it right up, not for the faint of heart. Everything here is great been coming for over 5 years now and the food never lost its quality.

The Owl is a staple of this community and has been around for ages. The price is not bad for what you get, and the fact it's open 24/7 is a big plus. Service is efficient, and the quality here is comparable to the other places in this area. If Daldongnae is the go-to for KBBQ, then the Owl is the go-to for a solid pork bone soup.

The employees in the store are stiff and look like they are angry people. They pour water into the soup that smells cheap and it tastes terrible. And I am disappointed after taking the food.
Food was delicious and I loved the sides. Good location as well, in very bustling and young area. I liked the vibes. It was a busy Friday night, can tell the ladies were working over time. Tables were cleaned and service was fast. Definitely would come back
