As a restaurant in a hotel, the service and the food was disappointing. Especially the communication with the staff is lacking in quality. There was event called summerlicious once when I was staying at the hotel. They apparently had a set menu based on the event which I thought was way overpriced. So I asked if they were serving anything else then they first don't understand such a simple question then they keep telling me they have an event called summerlicious like I didn't hear them the first time or I can't read those words on the menu they provided for me. In this way, I felt that they were lacking in customer service and knowing our needs. It really a type of restaurant I would typically find on the streets of the suburbs, not inside a hotel. The food is inexpensive and good enough to just have an occasional lunch with someone. But besides that, I would not go there for any other reason.

I visited this restaurant for the Winterliciuos 2020 deal (Jan.31 to Feb 13). It's a small dim light restaurant with some modern decor. Located next to the lobby of Novotel hotel. I ordered the Pureed Cauliflower and Potatoes soup...mmm delish. Followed by the Maple Glazed Chicken. It was served on top of a Barley Rosto with pureed pumpkin. And for dessert Apple Blossom Pie. Although it came with icecream, I opt out because I'm too lactose. Overall I enjoyed myself. The only thing is they dont give you bread with your meal anymore. You have to pay $4?

We have had breakfast here a few times as it was included with Hôtel room. Croissants Variety including chocolat could be improved if allowed to raise more before baking.

Went last Friday for early breakfast with coworkers at Trio Restaurant. They serve buffet style and it was amazing and delicious! Our server Adam was very professional but friendly and funny. I strongly recommend it.

we went to trio last night for dinner we ordered our food the table beside us the dinner complained his veal was tough, and re ordered another veal dish within a minute his veal arrived we waited a good forty min,then my dates veal arrived she said due to the long wait to get her food they gave the dinner next to us her veal,so we waited finally got her dinner, my pizza took 45 min s to arrive the waiter made a silly excuse for taking so long so we ate and i asked for the bill i asked again, again no bill i raised my voice and demanded our bill another server came with the bill I DON,T KNOW WHY MY REQUEST FOR OUR BILL WAS TOTALLY IGNORED, the food was not bad, the service awful. i would never go back to this place, as their service is deceptive giving the dinner next to us my date s meal., and forgetting to make my pizza.it turned our night awful.

It used to be good, but the last time I went there for breakfast the eggs were cold and they did not have a sign indicating their interact was down. Most reputable places will have a sign if interact is down.

Would not recommend. Food was tasteless and horrible. Terrible staff. The server had to come back to ask what we, table of two, ordered TWICE. When food arrived, it was "dropped off" like a fast food restaurant rather than placed down and stating which dish is which. FISH WAS VERY DRY AND TASTELESS. Highly suggest to just eat around the area and avoid this restaurant.

The general ambience of Trio is kind of relaxed. Seems like a place to meet up with a colleague. I actually went there for winterlicious this year and found the food okay. The appetizers and entree were good but felt like it was missing something. However the cannolis were amazing! The servers were pleasant as well. Cocktails were pretty mediocre.
