I visited on September 1, 2025, at around 5:53 PM, so the person reading this review should know who I was dealing with. I ordered a Wednesday Meal of Misfortune (I’ll just call it a Wednesday meal), plus a Classic Chicken Sandwich. Additionally, I had a coupon for free medium fries with a purchase on my phone. To start, the cashier looked visibly unhappy and clearly did not want to be there. I told her about the coupon through the app, and she said I had to order my food first. Okay, that’s fine. I told her exactly what I wanted, which was the Wednesday meal combo and the Classic Chicken combo. First, the cashier made a mistake and entered the wrong order: she put in a Classic Chicken combo with MEDIUM drinks and MEDIUM fries (there’s an extra charge for that because the default combo comes with small fries and a small drink). She then spoke to her manager and “corrected” it, but made another error by entering a Spicy Chicken combo instead of a Classic Chicken combo. I told her again that it wasn’t the correct order, and she once again asked her manager to reset it. This time, she finally entered the correct order, except when she tried to scan my coupon (i.e., the free medium fries with a purchase), it simply wouldn’t go through for whatever reason. She tried scanning it multiple times, but it wouldn’t register in their system. She then told me that their register wouldn’t accept the coupon for some ambiguous reason, and gave me attitude, saying that next time I should just use mobile ordering instead. In my head, I’m thinking, “Excuse me? How is it MY fault that YOUR system won’t read the coupon QR code?” It’s either that, or the cashier was making some sort of mistake on her end. The right thing to do here would’ve been to simply waive the cost of the medium fries for me OR contact the manager (again) to show her how to properly scan or input the coupon code on the register. After I told the cashier, “No, I shouldn’t have to use mobile ordering because the Wendy’s app clearly allows the user to ‘Use in restaurant,’” she gave me a look and went quiet. Shortly after, the system was “magically” able to accept my coupon. You’d think everything was done and all good now, right? Wrong. When she gave me my order, they actually forgot the medium fries. At this point, I honestly could not believe the lack of care this person had for her job. I went up to the front counter and told the cashier about the missing fries, and she finally gave them to me.

Overall, it was just a really frustrating experience because I was being so patient with her, yet she gave me attitude even though she was the one making errors at every single step of the process. Also, not once did she think to apologize for any of her mistakes. I think that was ridiculous, and honestly, this is the worst experience I’ve had at a fast food restaurant in a while. Hopefully, someone at this branch reads this review and makes a significant improvement to their process.

Lovely cashier: Urvahsi, always makes coming here an enjoyment for me. Night time atmosphere is very grimy with loitering citizens, and lunch hours is incredibly packed. Given it being in a traffic heavy district ,it's not the restaurant's fault, as many staff work effeciently as they, but it's hard to keep a consistent pace with the high volume of orders.
