z-teca Mexican Eatery (North York Centre)

Yum! Ordered the shrimp salad and it was so delicious! A healthy combination of lettuce, black beans, corn, cilantro, corn chips and lightly fried seasoned shrimp. It costs $15 with tax but is very filling! Friendly staff too!

My counterman suggested Z teca for lunch. Damn, excellent food we had a burrito I believe. No chance I was finishing that. If my wife and I went there for sure a share.

Garbage management. They don't start deliveries on time. They have no respect for drivers..they expect us to stand and wait to watch them make the food while we get a ticket and the next restaurant waits for us to pick up their orders that are then late and/or cold. Don't give them your business.

This place is not bad if you're a vegetarian. I ordered the chicken bowl and barely got any chicken.

Got a chorizo burrito that was really good, honestly better than I expected. Main reason for the 5 stars is the woman working yesterday was so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be making me a burrito. I wish she had a name tag on so I could mention her specifically.

I just placed an order on Uber Eats, they had this fantastic deal where you buy one bowl and receive a second free. I have ordered from here many times before as I genuinely love their food but I received my bowls with barely any protein at all. I was able to count a total of 7 chunks of chicken in my bowl. I was pretty upset considering if I had known the protein would be impacted as such I would have never ordered this buy one get one. In the past the protein has surpassed my expectations so to receive a bowl that had close to none was frustrating. I had called the location where I ordered my bowl from and the staff basically wrote me off said that’s that, there’s nothing she can do. I asked to speak with a manager and she stated the manager is not in I would have to call back. I asked if she could leave a note so that the management team could either A give me a call back when it was appropriate or B at least be aware that there was a customer complaint. The staff member proceeded to try to explain that one scoop of protein is what is given and that’s what she did. At this point I was getting more frustrated because my food is not how I expected it to be, staff member is not trying to meet me half way and I have someone trying to dismiss my request to speak with management. The call ended because this Staff member decided to hang up on me. I am fuming and will never order from here again. I have multiple friends and family that visit this location and being that I am NOT happy I will be ensuring they no longer visit as well.

Had the food at the food court Z-Teca. Great find, surprisingly inside a food court. The steak quesadilla was perfect, fresh crispy tortilla, the steak had a very nice seasoning, and whole thing was super cheesy. Loved the loaded fries as well. Top notch customer service as well, which is unexpected from a small food court eatery. Highly recommend.

Best burrito i ever had!! I was really hungry and I didn't know what to eat so I gave z-teca a chance so I got the grilled chicken burrito. A very nice lady made me my burrito and made it quick! I've never had a more fuller burrito and while eating it I felt like I was on my seventh heaven. Too good 5 stars would eat here again. (I would post a photo of the burrito but I ate it before I realized I should take a photo that's how good it is)
