Haven't been to this restaurant in over 10 years it used to be one of the best for Chinese food in the area. I ordered General Tao chicken they should rename it to General Tao celery there was very little chicken 90% celery and nuts? the vegetable rolls were good the roast pork egg roll? I personally didn't like the beef egg foo young I ended up throwing out all the food except for the vegetable spring rolls?

Initially I came on here to give them a 1 star as this was one of the saddest Chinese food I've ever had. But I'm giving this place a star back for their food seeing that they are MSG free. I get what they are doing. Props to them for keeping it healthier, but real Chinese food has MSG in everything. If you're looking for that traditional Cantonese fast food taste? You won't get it here.I would say this is the HOSPITAL food version of Chinese food around. At best. Probably appropriate for the hospital guests and elderly crowd of the area. The sweet and sour sauce has barely any flavor or color. The "popcorn" fried style of sweet and style of sweet and sour pork was missing. It just felt like they use the same piece of random meat for everything. You could have told me that it was a piece of the beef from a beef and broccoli dish that was covered in sweet and sour sauce and I would have agreed with you. The portions are also quite small. The takeout container is about the size of my outstretched palm width. $15. Not worth the price. Customer service was nice though.

Rice tasted old. Chicken taste and texture was weird almost like it wasn't chicken. Wings tasted stale and like it was fried in old oil. Noodles were ok but too much onion and mushrooms overpowered the dish. Wasted my money.

I use to go hear alot but lately I noticed pricing going up and up . It use to be a good deal but it's 14 dollars for a lunch "special" I was about to pay but I said eff it . What a scam . Not to mention the chicken isn't even real .

I can't believe the reviews for Halton Dragon are so bad - had to make an account just to balance out the hate. I've been eating there for over 15 years, used to live in town and eat it all the time in high school. I go back to get a C2 platter almost every time I come to visit my parents and take a picture to post in my high school group chat to make all my old buddies jealous. Spring rolls are out of this world too, so good. Most of the food I've had is great if you are in the mood for good, cheap Chinese food. It's not gormet, there are some good options for higher end Chinese food in town like the place in Oakville Place but honestly I prefer Halton Dragon. You know what, I'm going to go tonight.

Been coming here since 2007 and now this place is a dump.Ordered through Uber eats a combination platter (they all come with fried rice)However when trying to check out you are FORCED to upsell and buy noodles (see attachment). Fine, why not. When food arrived there was no rice. I called the store and the store owner told me and talked to me as if I don’t know how to use the Uber Eats app and rudely goes off and explains if you ‘choose’ (forced) noodles this substitutes noodles instead of rice. See screenshot, no option to place the order UNLESS you pay EXTRA for noodles and it does not say anywhere you do not get the fried rice when you are forced to choose noodles for an upcharge.Store owner argued with me and told me it’s working for “everyone else”. I emailed Uber and got my whole meal for free but Uber has still not taken action on this. Avoid shady tactics. At least if you are going to FORCE people to buy noodles the least you can do is give them $1 worth of rice as well. Not to mention the food tasted very oily and fishy (did not order fish), quality has gone beyond down hill and they have lost a customer.

I have been going there for 15 years. I feel the quality hit bottom now. The oil they use for food such as fried rice is no way fresh. I feel they reuse the old oil used for frying. Then the price is the same as a sit in restaurant. I do not find any reason to go back.
