As a 71st birthday celebration we went to Hoseki Oakville for the Premium Omakase dinner. It was super expensive, but also one of the two best meals of my life. I've never had better, fresher or different fish in any other sushi restaurant I've visited. The variety of textures and flavors were amazing. I can't begin to describe the meal adequately . But beware, it will empty your wallet. Well worth the price for a special occasion. Many kudos to Chef Tim for his wonderful preparations!

Wife and I quite enjoyed our meal and this is the first place where I actually like tuna. You can definitely taste the difference in freshness and quality. Rice is fantastically cooked and held nicely as nothing annoys me more than nigiri where the rice falls apart as you rush to get it into your mouth. It's hard to nail down my favourite as there so many great pieces unique to each other but standouts for me would be the snail and least favourite is the eel. It's too bad the location is so far from me but I do plan to come back when weather is warmer and try some of the rolls and sashimi. We came at 5 pm and restaurant filled up around 6 so I would recommend you make reservation if coming around that time.
