Always very friendly and portions of the food are big for leftover and very healthy dishes

Wanted a quick lunch so I tried the menu. Had dumplings, sushi and a yakisoba dish. I found the dumplings very average with taste and texture. Sushi was good, they used the cucumber chunk rather than sliced. I found the rice not the best quality. The chicken and noodle dish was okay, the sauce just wasn't for me. Overall a good lunch but I'll look elsewhere plenty of options around. Also the restaurant was a bit dull and cold, heater wasn't working so the wood chairs felt extra woody!

Consistently delicious, quality food. The owners are so lovely as well.

Quite a small hole in the wall, this place has a mom and pop vibe to it when you enter. You order up front and if you are dining in, you find a table to be served. The establishment was clean and well maintained while the food remained affordable and accessible. I had the beef teriyaki, it was fine. Wasn't anything too special but tasted okay. Portion size is good and takeout would probably be preferable.

If you are looking for a cheap quick food that has a simplistic vibe, this might be up your alley. Unfortunately I didn't find it anything too impressive and won't be returning anytime soon.

I decided to try this place out, showed up there at 7:15 pm wanting to dine in. The sign said they were closing at 8 o’clock and we didn’t think that was an issue. When we asked to order the items they told us that we could not dine in because they were closing at 8:00 and they would take 20 minutes to cook the food, which would still give us time to sit and eat there. They refused us. We decided to order the food to go. when I asked for a beef dish, they told me, no chicken is faster to cook. I said I’m asking for the beef dish. They said they didn’t wanna make it for us and when we asked for something else, they said again, order the chicken instead. It’s like they didn’t want our business. I assume it’s a husband and wife working, and they were both very rude. We walked out and I will never go back there again. Sad because the reviews of the food seem good, but reading other reviews, the woman is awful, and not customer service oriented.

The longstanding reputation that Little Tokyo has within Oakville is a testament to its food (which is absolutely delicious). It's been there for as long as I remember, and I always stop by whenever I'm back in town. It's truly a gem, and a place to get deliciously comforting Japanese/Korean food from friendly staff. The location is unassuming and nestled within a small plaza, but your visit will be well worth it!

They've perfected the simple fried dumpling to an art. Make no mistake; I'm not one to exaggerate or give false praise. But as a Korean who's lived a lifetime of trying different dumplings from places, I can confidently say that their friend dumplings/gyozas are something to be tried. And if you think the simple dumpling is good, wait until you try the actual food! Highly recommend to anyone who's in Oakville or who has the opportunity of passing by.

We ordered spicy chicken rice and the chicken&rice is cold. They didn't provide any water or tea to customers. Neither side dishes like other korea restaurant did. I won't revisit this restaurant again. The service was terrible too. They didn't provide any service while expect customers to tip them.

This place uses fake reviews. We went with my family and our toddler for dinner. The food was bad in compared to most Japanese /korean restaurants. Dumplings burned and hard, bugolgi dinner with almost not meat mostly only rice and sushi was just ok.

The service in this place is awful. The lady in the front is unpleasant and rude. She was not happy with the tip I left and went up to our table and said we needed to leave as she was closing, before it was even closing time. She directed the message to us and not the rest of the people who was still eating in the restaurant.
Also they do not provide a bill with breakdown of my order. People is required to order in front and the server does not come to table to take your order. Yet they demand a high tip. Awful and unpleasant experience.

Honestly the food wasn’t terrible but the lady at the front was demanding a tip by the time we were going to pay and than stared at me and my family as we got our son into our car to leave and took her phone out and started to record us. Made the experience really uncomfortable. I would have loved to come back here but the last few moments there were very unpleasant and I will not be returning to this establishment.

Got the Spicy Beef Yakisoba, my go-to, and brought my boys to try it. I loved it as usual and always come here for a fantastic meal. Great atmosphere + service!!!

Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to all dairy and eggs, and they are able to let me know what I can and can't have. They can also do accommodations if possible!

The food is honestly amazing! came here for lunch and would definitely come again. The yakisoba noodles were incredible and the staff were really friendly as well.
