I don’t know if there has been a change in ownership or just an huge downhill turn. Ordered from here expecting the usual great food and what we got was actually quite awful. Overly seasoned meats (or overly plumped up) chicken and beef. Both fluffy. The hot and sour soup had a “musty” taste. The fried rice wasn’t really fried. They use an american platform which shows that it’s in US dollars. It’s not but they need to fix than. The last straw was the driver tip grubbing. Sadly that will be the last order as the quality has slipped so badly and it’s too expensive to make the same mistake again. Leaving the old review here for reference.

They fill the containers to the brim so no complaint about portions. Only Chinese restaurant where the shrimp in the noodle and chow mein dishes are cleaned properly. Overall best I have found in Oakville! Highly recommend.

Been going to this restaurant for years. And they have always had weird hours but their website always listed accurate hours. Not anymore it seems. Calling them gets a weird message "please enter your access code". Beyond menu says they should be open but deliveries are closed at the moment. Google & their website say they should be open but I guess their not and I"m not driving over their to check for sure.
This is ridiculous - and they are the best and only chinese food place I like the food from. They lack that strange flavour ALL other places including the Mandarin have. UGGGHHHHHHHHH so sad if their closed - for now just mad.

Oak garden is my family go to spot for generations now. Food is great and as someone with severe allergies ive never had a problem, great service, cash discount, free delivery on orders above 38$. What more can you ask for. Mandarin doesn't need your money support local!!
