Can’t speak to the men overall but the Heritage blend was really good and K at the counter was really sweet. He helped us decide on new beans for our home espresso machine and gave some tips on how to brew at home. Great attitude and was really kind.
I found it very annoying that there is no sign posted saying that dogs are not welcome. I was told this after I had ordered my drink and asked to wait outside where I was swatting away. Killer wasps. The experience was very uncomfortable. A simple sign on the door would’ve meant that I didn’t go in and order and pay for a drink before being asked to stand outside.
Tried Pilot Coffee in Oakville recently — honestly, it was just okay for me. I know a lot of people really like Pilot as a brand, and I’d say the coffee is probably a bit better than Starbucks, but not by a huge margin. Nothing particularly memorable about the flavor.
What I did like was the atmosphere — it was quiet, not crowded at all, which made it a nice spot to sit down and have a proper coffee chat. Sometimes that alone is reason enough to go.
