Too much peppercorn on my peppercorn steak
Unfortunately, we were not impressed by the server
Steven was our server tonight, he was absolutely fantastic. He attended to our requests and ensured my friend had a nut free meal! The food was absolutely delicious, as always, and the patio was beautiful on this warm Saturday evening. Steven was positive, gave great recommendations, and for someone new to the service industry we were throughly impressed! Would recommend the Oscar topper, per Steven’s recommendation ;)

It’s my 5th time to go to this location, always stuff were friendly,
The rib steak is fresh juicy and I can’t describe how it’s perfect.
Lobster tail is good also,
For birthday they have free cake for celebration.

Had a wonderful meal here.
The Father's Day special 14 oz steak, cooked medium rare, was absolutely exceptional and easily one of the top five steaks I've had in my life.
Server Nick was polite, providing great service. Checking on us multiple times, humble and good personality and people skills.
I would recommend coming here if you are looking for a high class restaurant in Oakville.

We come here every weekend, ever watched the show cheers? Where everyone knows your name. My wife and I love this place, we live close by. My favorite drinks are the Rina martini with blue cheese olives, dirty of course. Lot 40 old fashioned.
You dont have a reservation and its packed. Have no fear, the Keg has Gil and Mercedes pushing at the bar serving amazing drinks endlessly.
Carly at the front reception is the nicest warmest person here, always greeting and making sure we have space for accommodation.
We've been in Portugal for 17 days, and my wife and I were dying to see the familiar faces we're used to seeing here steady at this Oak keg location.
Same faces, the best hospitality, space is never guaranteed, but aways made. Best atmosphere, space, peope here that know your name, its our home away from home.
Glad to be back, Thank you to all of the Keg staff.

Glad to see everyone now back.
Everything about this place exceeded all expectations. It was such a great delight. Special thanks to our waiter, Kiki.
Our server was extremely rude, condescending and arrogant which went perfectly with the mediocre doos. Won't return

The Keg in Oakville is the most inconsistent Keg I have been to. Sometimes the food is served hot and sometimes cold. They don't know how to cook steaks and they are served inconsistently prepared. Food for different people often brought out at different times with significant gaps. For the higher pricing its really not worth it at this location.

I am extremely disappointed with the service my family and I received at The Keg.
When we arrived, we informed our server, Tristan, that my husband is a transplant patient and that his steak needed to be cooked medium-well for health reasons. Tristan assured us that it would be.
When the steak arrived, it was clearly cooked medium, not medium-well. Tristan looked at it himself and agreed that it was undercooked, so he took it back to be remade. Unfortunately, this meant that on my birthday, my daughter and I were left eating our meals alone while my husband sat waiting for his replacement steak. It completely ruined what should have been a special steakhouse experience.
What happened next was even more disappointing. When the manager, Brittany, stopped by our table, my husband politely explained the situation and expressed that it was unfortunate, especially given the occasion. Her response was shocking: “Maybe this is not the steakhouse for you.”
I have never experienced a manager speak to a customer this way. We were not rude, demanding, or looking for anything for free. We simply pointed out that the steak had been cooked incorrectly after we had specifically explained the importance of it being medium-well.
Rather than offering a sincere apology, Brittany's attitude made us feel as though we were the problem for raising a legitimate concern. Later, when the replacement steak arrived, she dropped the plate on our table without a word and walked away. Even then, I thanked her, despite how unprofessional the interaction felt.
Tristan was also noticeably cold and dismissive after we raised the issue. We were not upset with him personally; mistakes happen. All we wanted was kindness, understanding, and a genuine apology. Instead, we felt like an inconvenience.
The restaurant offered to comp the steak, but that completely missed the point. We were not looking for free food. We wanted respectful service and accountability when a mistake was made.
The only bright spot in this experience was manager Todd, who was professional, sincere, and seemed to genuinely care about customer service.
A steak being cooked incorrectly can happen. What should never happen is a manager telling guests that perhaps this isn't the steakhouse for them because they raised a concern. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic customer service turned what should have been a birthday celebration into a very disappointing evening.
The Keg needs to do a much better job training its staff on how to handle customer concerns. Based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this location.

Our server (Steve/Steven?) was amazing at making the experience both welcoming and enjoyable throughout.
My son and I had boys night out and while the cuisine was good as usual, the Shirley Temple mocktail and extra attentiveness hit the spot for the young lad.
Enjoyed it and we'll be back.

I eat out frequently and at a wide range of restaurants. Over the past couple years, I've found that many dining experiences in the GTA have become subpar. Whether it's the food, the service, the ambiance, or all three. Sometimes you simply want a reliable, enjoyable meal.
A friend and I came in craving a classic Keg dinner. The food was excellent, but what truly made the evening memorable was our server, Stevie.
Stevie delivered one of the best service experiences I've had in a very long time. He struck the perfect balance of being attentive without ever feeling intrusive. He was personable, professional, friendly and prompt. His energy elevated the entire experience. In fact, my friend and I found ourselves commenting to each other on how exceptional he was multiple times throughout the meal because great service has become increasingly hard to find.
At one point, there was a mix up with one of our meals regarding an ingredient. It was entirely our mistake, we had overlooked it on the menu. Despite it not being the restaurant's fault, Stevie handled the situation immediately and graciously, making the process completely seamless. The replacement was handled quickly with care, and throughout the process both Stevie and the management team demonstrated an impressive level of care and professionalism.
The manager also came by to check on us personally, which was greatly appreciated. While there was never any issue from our perspective, it spoke volumes about the team's commitment to ensuring guests have a positive experience.
Even with the brief correction to our order, everything remained top notch from start to finish. The food was excellent, the service was exceptional.
This was genuinely one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. Stevie deserves recognition for the outstanding job he does, and this location should be proud of the team they've built.
10/10 experience. I'll absolutely be back.

We had another great meal at the Keg in Oakville. But we found that the gift card given to us had not been activated. Todd was amazing making sure that we did not feel embarrassed and even helping us with the bill by combing us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Thanks to the wonderful staff and to Todd. Amazing
