I visited this place for a lunch date with my girlfriend yesterday. The atmosphere was great, and we were greeted warmly, which set a nice tone. However, the food was a huge letdown. I ordered the Veg BAB Burger, which was described on the menu as coming with cheddar cheese, fresh tomatoes, red onions, lettuce, and W sauce. To my surprise, the burger only had a veg patty—no cheese, no toppings, nothing. It was very disappointing, especially considering I paid $22 for it. I felt embarrassed, and since I was on a date, I didn't want to bring it up with the waitstaff. For the price, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Won't be coming back.

Great spot for a burger and beer! Burgers are juicy with lots of creative options, and the beer selection pairs well. Service was friendly and atmosphere casual.

Love the Works Burger. We've been here many times, and more recently because they have a dog friendly patio.

Great burger, great service. Had the Tragically Maple burger. Fantastic!

We got a chicken tender on the side for the dog as well.

I sat and watched my boyfriend eat for 30+ minutes. Food came out on time. My boyfriends chicken sandwich was great. My mushroom melt was purple inside. They said sorry & would bring out a replacement in 15 min max. 10 min go by they bring me extra fries. After 15 min my boyfriend is finished his burger

After 20 min nothing. They say a few more minutes for my burger. 30 mins+ im angry. People all around me are getting food. Why was my order not put at the front of the line?! This is ridiculous. By the time my burger came we had waited 40 mins since the food came. Fries were cold

I refused it. How can anyone think this is okay?!
They had a nerve to ask why we didn’t tell them prior i didn’t want the burger after waiting 40 mins.
I was so upset, our date had been ruined! We came on a motorcycle so i cannot take anything home.

I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and sheesh i know you NEVER let a customer wait so long when the food is messed up. My order should’ve been put in the front of the line.

I have been going to the WORKS restaurants establishments since 2018.

I will never return and give my hard earned money after the way i was treated today.

I still cannot believe this. We somehow still paid $35 for my boyfriends burger & 2 drinks. Totally ridiculous

While the food tasted good and the server was polite, the care, attention and value that I expected (from visits to other locations and word of mouth) did not come to fruition. While there was no wait for a table, i seemed to have been forgotten once my order was placed. A beautiful day on the patio, was not ruined by these negative aspects of my visit, but I'm disappointed that I, or anyone, should have to experience it. It will likely be a while before I consider this location - or chain - again.

I dont understand how you can ignore every guest dining inside and only serve your patio customers.
Weird business model, my family got up and walked out before we ever even saw a memner of the wait staff at our table.

Very good selection on everything. I had many options to choose from. I was really impressed that their burgers are made from fresh beef and not frozen. You can really taste the difference. And their onion rings are the best. Always order the onion rings. I
am not sure if I like the onion rings more than the fries but both are very good. Since we tried both you can't go wrong with an order of fries and onion rings in the same meal. This is definitely the place to go for lunch and dinner if you want a very good selection of burgers and great side dishes.

Had a great experience at The Works Craft Burgers! The food was delicious as always, but what really made our visit special was the amazing service from JA and Quin. They were incredibly friendly, cheerful, and attentive—always checking in to make sure everything was perfect. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Thank you for the great service and warm hospitality—we’ll definitely be back!

Try the fries and homemade chips!

Visited the restaurant today. I am very disappointed with the quality of their burgers. Beyond meat burger was very dry and not at all to the standard of Burlington site. Service was not good. Our appetizers did not artive before our main food. All together not a good experience.

Mediocre burgers at best. The buns are very stale, zero freshness, burgers themselves (meat) are pretty dry and not a lot of flavour, also quite poor when it comes to standard toppings, not much between the stale buns in that department.

Service is absolute ZERO, yes the staff are nice and yes they seemed very tired, it was a long day but still, the place wasn't crazy busy, and we were standing at the door waiting for someone to seat us, took quite a while.
After we were seated, we were pretty much ignored/left alone as if we were ghosts, we had to call the staff to please come and take our orders after quite a long wait, I was even thinking about just walking out and going somewhere else.

Weak and poor service + weak and below average food = not recommended, and we won't be going back that's for sure, unfortunately.

Nice patio plays music, serves a good and attentive. has the tragically poutine, great portions, 18oz beers help too (Belgium moon) when u ask for water they bring it on a measuring cup lol
