We visited The Works in Oakville to celebrate a birthday, and we had such a great experience! The food was wonderful—everything tasted fresh, and you could tell care had gone into preparing each meal.

What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Sarah took such wonderful care of our group. She was efficient, kind, thoughtful, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

Her attention to detail and genuine friendliness made our celebration feel extra special. It's clear she cares about providing a great experience for her guests. Thank you, Sarah, for making the birthday such an enjoyable one—we're already looking forward to coming back!

Sarah at The Works in Oakville was absolutely incredible! We had a member of our party who uses a wheelchair, and Sarah immediately stepped in with a smile and happily rearranged tables to make sure our friend was comfortable and included. Her positive attitude made such a difference from the moment we arrived.

She was also knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. By the end of our visit, she made us feel like lifelong friends rather than just customers. Exceptional service like hers is rare, and she truly made our experience memorable. Thank you, Sarah!

Happy they had both vegetarian and gluten free options, including a dedicated gluten free fryer for French fries!

HORRIBLE SERVICE ALERT!!!

Heard a lot about this place so we went to try their lunch menu. Totally understaffed!! Only 1 person taking care of everything from seating to ordering to waiting to billing. After 40 mins of waiting, the food was served cold. Had to send it back and wait another 40 mins before giving up hopes of being served. During the 1+ hr at the restaurant, never did the server come to ask for refills or offer to serve the sides when the mains took longer.
Maybe its the best burger in town, its not for me!

I visited this location on May 13, 2025 for their lunch special. When I arrived, the server/hostess had greeted me and my companion right away. However, that is when it started to go downhill. My companion had used the washroom there but the toilets were clogged even though the restaurant had only been open an hour. The server/hostess had a habit of disappearing in either the kitchen or the bar as we were not able to get refills on our drinks or take advantage of the bottomless fries.

During this time as well, we watched a couple try to come in and eat there but the server/hostess as nowhere to be found and watched them leave shortly afterwards. My companions order was incorrect and our fries were not warm at all. When we went to pay for the bill, we had to server/hostess to even be able to ask for the bill and then paid.

I would not recommend this location, especially during their lunch hour.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at The Works the other evening. It was a beautiful day outside so the garage-like doors were open and the fresh breeze and sunlight added to the experience. Our waitress was lovely; very attentive, respectful, and professional. The food was also delicious. It came out within a reasonable time, was fresh, and filling!
We are very happy with our visit and will definitely make our way back soon! :)

Worst dining experience I have ever had in my life. The waitress argued with us about our order. She was extremely rude, it’s embarrassing. After waiting 35 minutes for our bill, another couple got up and left because two waitresses were arguing over who gets the table. I have been coming here for over 10 years, never again. Embarrassing, waste of $40.

Long wait for the food, likely due to the Good Friday crowd. Unfortunately, when my burger arrived, the patty was cold. I was in a hurry and didn’t have time to wait for a replacement. It tasted great regardless, but it definitely would have been much better served hot.
