We like supporting local businesses so we wanted to give it a try.
Poutine was pretty decent taste wise. We also wanted to try the fish tacos but unfortunately it was over powered by the sauce/spice and nothing else had any flavor. Unfortunately for us the value just wasn't there as both portions were really small for the price.

Cruising down Highway 11 from Muskoka and the sudden urge for an ice cream cone came upon me. We were approaching Orilla so dialed up ice cream parlours and a few spots came up. One oddly connected to a car wash, just couldn’t wrap my mind around that one. So we headed downtown to Cool Cones. Nice old building with lots of fresh airy space inside. Lots of offerings other than ice cream as well. Of course I ordered the largest cone they had, and my wife ordered the smallest. Rang in under $15.00 so a reasonable price. The staff were very polite and friendly as well. I’ll mark this one on the map for a return date!

So many options! Seriously. There were too many choices of flavor! A very good problem. Staff were great as well. Super friendly and helpful.

We went to try a funnel cake and it was delicious! The serving was just enough for my 7 year old and me to share. Lots of ice cream and strawberry sauce to make each bite a perfect mix.
We are excited to go back and try some of the soft serve options.
There is also a full menu of meal items as well, so go for lunch AND dessert!
The staff were marvelous. They were happy to let my child watch as they prepared our snack, as well as others. Being at the age of many questions, they took the time to answer each one the best they could, and gave special treatment to make my babe feel like a guest of honour.

If you like soft serve, this is the place to get a great cone (or cup) ? Cool Cones has 24 flavours of soft serve, along with milkshakes, slushies, and sweet add-ins for all the menu items both on and not on the above list.Oh…there’s also funnel cakes ?I highly recommend checking out this spot on near the bottom of the hill! Great for kids of all ages ?
