I took my 11 year old daughter for a quick birthday lunch this week. Our bagels were delicious and the service was exceptional! Sam made my daughter feel so special by wishing her a happy birthday and going the extra mile to offer a complimentary dessert. Thank you Poppies for the great food and service!

The breakfast bagel was good but their drip coffee was gross, way too acidic. Not sure what was going on with that but I poured the whole thing out.

Cant recommend Poppies enough!!!! The bagels are FABULOUS and the drinks are just as tasty. The staff is so very helpful and kind… I have a few allergies which are they are also really knowledgeable and considerate about. Love love love the new feature cream cheese…. Honey siracha (but dont miss out on the classics either… scallion and regular)!!!! Great vibes for a cozy Saturday morning.

Am visiting Orillia from Queensland Australia. My daughter recommended I visit the bakery and try it out. Was amazed at the quality of the menu but also the amazing service from all the staff. Brit and Cam. I I could transport your store to Queensland I would. Absolutely awesome.

Small, bustling bagel shop in Orillia. The bagels are amazing! Soft, pillowy inside and a slightly crunchy outside. Delicious flavours (sesame, cheddar, everything, lemon poppyseed, and more!), and quality cream cheese, smoked salmon, and eggs are used in their bagel sandwiches. Would definitely recommend!

Been here twice with the family. The bagels are incredible with a nice bit of sweetness and crunch. Eggs are prepared fresh, quality smoked salmon and delightful cream cheese options.

Soft , spongy and fresh bagels at Poppies Bagel Company, Orillia. Freshly made food, espcially baked good are a bliss. This place has history and keep well with it. Tried out the bagels and their cream cheese on consecutive days over a weekend for breakfast and it was delicious experience.
Lemon Poppy Seed bagel was a hit and so was the olive cream cheese. Summer times lemonades are one of their attrcations and the ginger lemongrass lemonade is yumm
Place is tiny and busy ( weekends are busier) and it would be tricky to enjoi your food onsite seated at the small tables. One could however enjoi dowtown vibes and eat out on the benches outside
Bagels are slightly expensive compared to alllother bagels spots but freshness and taste somewhat make up for it.
Got a couple of sandwiches (the smoked salmon and the original) and also tried the stargazer (blue matcha and chai). The bagels were chewy and dense with a pretty good amount of protein and toppings (though the salmon was pricey for the size). The stargazer was a fun drink both in look and taste.
People are welcoming. Vibe is casual. Place is small but has a few tables to dine in. Hugely popular local spot, so expect lines and maybe waits if you don't het there as they open.
Pretty solid Bagel store at the top of downtown Orillia. Decently quick service for the long line that you have to wait in. We arrived at 9am when it opened, with already 6 other groups in front of us.
We got the original and the vegetarian bagel, both were made well and the bagels were nice and fresh.
Overall a decent spot to eat!

Busy little place took well over 30 minutes for our bagels apparently locals havnt seen it that busy before. Great bagels to busy to sitting inside as it is smaller people would be standing around table but outside seating was good!

Found this place by chance on my way to work, stopped in as it opened and automatically grabbed a bacon egg and cheese. Was quite good, going back for sure to try other options.
