Great place for cold beer and a bite to eat. Lots of variety to choose from draft beers. Mussels are excellent. Friendly service and great vibe. After 6 p.m. on weekends in the warm season Orillia closes the roads downtown so pubs can use the space for makeshift patios. Lucky Labrador has a lovely patio space for the warm season.

First I would like to say the staff is great. Always there to serve you. JEN is one of the best wait staff they have, Friendly and on the ball with everything. What I like for the food is the Beef Dip, large portion very tasty and it is freshly carved. Many thanksThomas Dearman Owner/operator of Abby Taxi Orillia

We were expecting a pub atmosphere but it was so cozy with more than a touch of class. Love the little lights on the tables. And the food? First rate! Short Ribs were amazing!! Will definitely be back and Samantha was lovely. A great evening with friends!!

Overpriced for an underwhelming experience.Been here twice now. First time just for a snack and a drink. Mostly an unremarkable experience. Like it was just fine. The service was okay. I do remember my partner not loving their cocktail and mentioning it to the server and wasn't met with the response expected but that was a year ago so a bit hard to fully remember the whole experience.Came back for our anniversary dinner almost a year later and did not enjoy our time. The restaurant was busy and I understand how that can make things challenging but my white wine came out nearly room temperature and my partner that ordered the shepherds pie was very unimpressed with the portion size and how greasy and unappetizing it was. I had the chicken dinner and the broccolini was not good either. As well our server, I can't actually remember her name as she was non existent so we never could voice any issues due to this. It was unfortunately not a good experience at all. We ended up going elsewhere afterwards just to actually enjoy a meal together. Just very disappointing all together.

Nice little restaurant with tasty food. Waitress was very pleasant and didn't charge us for a round of mimosas due to a missing part of one of our orders. Would definitely go back for that tasty prime rib Benny!

It’s when you picture the perfect Friday night with your wife with amazing food and some beautiful live music. Truthfully a magical experience.

I didn’t love it. I had the risotto, it was very bland. I added the salmon. The portions were small. Maybe the chef was having an off day, but I just found the food feel short of my expectations and the service was not top service. Only 5 people in there and only seen our server a few times and was not as friendly and I would have hoped.

Went for Mother’s Day brunch and it was SO delicious. Staff were beyond lovely and overall had a great experience. Would highly recommend checking this place out! ?

If you’re expecting Jigs Dinner & Cod Tongue’s - Sorry My Son -The Lucky Labrador is named after a Dog and not The province-The atmosphere and the service is congenial with a menu of faux Irish Pub - I liked the place until I got the bill - $29 for Sheppard’s Pie - French onion soup -$14 a bowl- portions are small but well presented -Next time, I think I’ll go to Theo’s and save a few bucks for similar fare- but if you’re a big spender- go for The Lucky Labrador

Amazing food. Club sandwich was delicious! Staff was so friendly, and went out of their way to make sure my two year old had crayons and paper to colour. Got our food and drinks fast.We will be back!

Every time the kitchen amazes me. My new favorite place. Great beer selection. Classy cocktails. Everybody-knows-your-name kinda atmosphere. Did I mention the kitchen?

I very much want to love this place. They have done an admirable job of renovation and have about 70% captured the feel of a genyouwine English pub. My gripe is with the price-to-portion ratio of some of the dishes. Order the fish tacos and go home hungry; order the chicken parmigiana and take home leftovers. Appetizer prices crowd the entree prices, and the drink prices are high. Maybe it's to deter a specific customer demographic, I don't know, but I think the prices need some rethinking. Great staff and pleasant atmosphere.
