Irish pub in Orleans, ON

“My wife and I were out doing our weekend shopping and wanted a quick lunch that wasn't a drive through. I felt like fish and chips and Connor's Irish Pub came up with good reviews for the Fish and Chips. The food was very good. I had the choice between Haddock or Cod. Went with Haddock this time. My wife had a Chicken Club Sandwich which she said was also really good. The fish was a good thick piece cooked through and the batter was crispy. Some places the fish is mushy inside. The fries were home cut and crispy. My wife got onion rings with her club. They were nice and crispy with nice thick onions inside. Our server was very friendly and fast and seemed to be enjoying her shift. I couldn't give more stars for atmosphere because of the condition of the building itself. The building is old and needs some TLC. The washrooms especially need some refurbishing. They were clean. But everything was so old and worn out, it made you feel like they were not clean. It won't stop me from going there again. I plan to, because the food was good and reasonably priced, along with the great service.“
