Really disappointed after getting the family of 4 meal. The spring rolls were not edible. Really let down for the incredible pricetag. I will say the vegetables were really nice and the dumplings ok but that's about it. Everyone was struggling to eat.

Love the menu, so much to choose from! We had sushi rolls, and found loads of options even though we're vegetarian. Delicious!!

The food is terrible and their food felt like just to cheat and get the money from the people who don’t eat Japanese food that often.

They have terrible service as they take forever just to make a sushi roll, it takes almost 1 hour to make it.

It's out first time to try this sushi place.and the serving is good.its kinda pricey compare to other sushi place,but the quality of the sushi is great for the price..the nigiri salmon is so good..highly recommended to try the rainbow roll it was a good choice for me..very impressed!

A frequent visit for when I'm feeling like AYCE sushi. One of the best places in Ottawa that offers many options to choose from. The food is always fresh and tasty.

We went on a Thursday at 4pm for the all you can eat - the restaurant was not too busy. They had a notice saying they were short staffed for the restaurant but our server coped well with the tables, phone orders and the food delivery drivers.

Really enjoy this place and the variety of food.
The pork egg rolls are some of the best in the city and the sushi is always fresh.

I like the idea of the hot stone but find it really hot at first and stays really hot, almost to hot.

Review 6 years after my first review. We ordered on uber a few times over the past 6 months and both times we were very underwhelmed. Long wait and it not being fresh. We thought maybe it would be better if we went in, unfortunately it was not. We tried the all you can eat. The appetizers were not fresh at all, almost tasted double cooked which made the chicken very chewy. The rolls were ok, some fresh some dry. But mostly the different dances gave the flavour versus the rolls themselves. It’s really unfortunate since this used to be our go to, but the quality is just not what it used to be.

Am I ever glad our usual spot happened to be closed and we tried this sushi instead. It was very fresh, perfectly prepared and also offered some variety not found where we typically order sushi from. We really liked the relatively small quantity of tempura crisp in the spicy sushi (though we love spicy, often restaurants put too much crisp in these sushis, in my opinion.) This was not the case for Soul Stone, and so I wholeheartedly recommend their spicy varieties if you're like me and don't want too much crisp. They also removed the shrimp tail for the roll that contained shrimp tempura, so that end piece did not require an awkward tail removal. The miso soup had lots of "stuff" in it also, with the broth being very luscious. It was all delicious and we will order again!

We ordered for take out on a Tuesday evening. We had a variety of sushi rolls. The rice was all dry and chewy on all of them. We ended up throwing away a good part of them and only ate what we did because of the money we paid. These were not fresh at all. We were extremely disappointed.
