As a Lebanese who has a PhD in Shawarma, The King Shawarma is as good as it gets. The chicken/beef is tasty, healthy and comes in good portions. The veggies are very fresh and overall makes the sandwich and platter taste like my mother made it at home. Highly recommend this local family owned business. Adam is the man!!

Got a chicken Fattoush salad with a miniscule serving of chicken. Asked if could have more chicken and had perhaps a tablespoon more of chicken added on top. When it was time to checkout, I was charged an extra $2 for the extra tablespoon of chicken. Would instead recommend shawarma palace 2 min away with very generous portion sizes and much friendlier, honest staff. Alternatively, there is also shawarma chef which is rated #1 in Ottawa. Hope the extra $2 goes a long way -- you've lost a potential customer.

My friend from the old Marroush shawarma shop on Elgin is now here at the king Shawarma. He makes the best Shawarma! For everyone that knows Mustafa or Marroush Shawarma. Come here. I had a Shawarma here and it was amazing!!!!
