“We used to love eating here. We ordered from here every weekend. This weekend we were SHOCKED to see a 24$ increase on ONE special. I totally understand inflation but that is ridiculous and when the manager spoke to me he was so rude and disrespectful unfortunately we will no longer be ordering from there. I would rather drive into town. It’s too bad because I’m all about supporting local and we used to be very happy with Them.“

“Omg I tried so many, dont know where to start. First, me and my friends just wanna grab a quick banh mi. This shop stands out the most on google map since the review is sky high. When we came, the look of it is not giving much of a nice restaurant due to lack of decor and neat settings. Yet, once we got in, the Viet owner, who also runs the shop gave us a nice welcome. We're all Vietnamese so the native vibe quickly matched. As we finished the order, she was fast and keeping us company with her background stories. Banh trang tron is one of my fav, omggggg I've been craving for it. Highly suggest this home country snack to anyone adventurous with food. The other highlight is boba tea. Trust me, it's giving ✨️strong tea flavour & milky✨️, which is apparently hard to find since other shops serve too sweet and milky taste, not much of tea portion in it. AND, THE PRICE IS CRAZILY INEXPENSIVE. We tried 5, 6 different dishes and drinks. Only $11 for each of us, can't be any cheaper in this downtown spot. Definitely will come back.“

“Note that although you can enter the mall, you cannot enter from inside the mall. The inside of the restaurant is relatively large, and even if you visit around noon on a Sunday, you'll have plenty of room to sit.
After asking the staff for recommendations, I decided on the chicken sandwich and the Mexican burger displayed inside the store, so I chose the Mexican one.
It's a chicken sandwich with Doritos inside, and the chicken is soft and delicious with the crunchy texture of the Doritos and chicken batter. It's a pity that they don't have 7UP drinks, but they have a wide selection of colas, including normal, diet, and zero calorie colas.“

The Birria Tacos were excellent, so much flavor in every bite. We tried the Chicken Tacos and Beef Tacos, and they were really good as well. We also got the Chicken and the Steak Quesadillas, and boy oh boy, they were so juicy and yummy. The kids loved em. Lol they thought it was a new type of pizza. We will be back again to try the fish tacos, they were sold out. And I personally will be back for those Birrias. “Chai Kee has similar style as the previous Jim Chai Kee in Richmond hill. The difference is that this one is self served style with a famous speciality - pork liver noodle. Pork liver is something you cannot make it well and at Chai Kee, it is very well made. Their menu is somewhat specialized a beef, pork liver and fish ball (more like fresh fish paste) . They have nice noodles , deep fried fish skin and for some reason, they have condensed milk toast with milk tea. I have been there at least four times :) At the beginning , it was very crowded but now it is a nice busy pace. I love their pork liver and beef noodle . I also had fish ball and liver noodle too. What I liked about them: 1. Amazing price 2. Good food and the pork liver is amazing 3. Very clean 4. Nice service So I’d recommend chai Kee for a good wholesome noodle place For an amazing price“

“The food truck is at a very convenient and great spot if you dont want to go out of your way to the Waterfront. The BeaverTail my husband and I shared, BrrWownie, waswell made and tasted great.
The only downside to our experience was when we waited a really long time for our BeaverTail to be made, and unfortunately the lady forgot about us and served a couple of teenagers first who arrived after us, so my husband had to go up and remind her of our order. We were on the way to Rogers for a ball game that night (about two weeks ago) but we figured we arrived early enough to still have time to grab a beavertail and eat it on the way to our gate, in spit of it being busy. But due to the incident that we were forgotten and others who arrived after us were being served, we ended up being late for our game.
The lady herself was friendly and hardworking and knows how to make good beavertails, but we could see she was overwhelmed with the large amount of customers she had to deal with on her own. The only suggestion I have is to get an extra person to help out, have 2 people work, during the time when a lot of people come for the ball games. There are huge crowds of people passing the food truck on the way to Rogers Center and it would help lighten the load of the overwhelming amount of orders that she had to deal with all at once if she had a second person helping her.
Other than that, keep up the good work and perhaps we would stop by again when we are in Toronto next time!“

“Recent trip to STC decided to try the Bingz crispy burger. Price seems affordable between $6-8 for their burger/sandwich.
For those looking for a hamburger experience this is not it. It’s an Asian sandwich. I would equate it to a flaky Indian roti that is small and opened up to mimic a bun. Then meat filling inside.
My impression the crust was flaky - but lacked flavour. I am comparing it to an Indian roti which is by far more buttery. I tried the black pepper beef. I have mixed feelings about it. The seasoning was interesting not black pepper Asian style but more of an Indian beef style. I didn’t mind the seasoning. But the choice of meat was odd mine was a fat cap so each piece I bit into was fat which is rubbery. I’m not sure I enjoyed that. It did have flavour but the actual meat part was missing.
I paired it with a wonton soup. This is a northern style noodle soup with wontons. The wontons were great the soup broth was plain and noodles bland. Good to try once the soup was expensive and combo came up to under $20. I’m not sure for mall food it was that affordable. Packaging was great.“
