“We experienced a fabulous luncheon buffet at the Oshawa Mandarin restaurant today. The food was well prepared, displayed and very delicious. LOTS of variety! From the moment we arrived and until we left the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our server Cynthia was great. We were quite impressed that manager Isabel spoke with us twice. All-in-all a perfect experience.”

“As usual the food is always fantastic! The only negatives were booking online, which really didn't do anything for wait times. It was pretty much whoever showed up first was helped first. Online booking didn't do anything. Also they seemed short staffed. Looking around there were plenty of open tables, some which needed to be cleaned and stayed that way for quite a while. Some of the waiting customers lost their patience and left. Another good thing was that the kids got free meals with our entree orders.”

“Operating a pizza oven out of a food truck! Amazing experience. Ordered a Spicy-za and Margherita pizza. Good service just took under 10 minutes to get the food. Truck is parked on Main Street and Queen in Brampton for the lighting of the Xmas ? tree. The pizzas were cooked well from the bottom but was doughy on top even though it was thin. Of course the Spicy-za pizza had the most flavours.”

I use this Tim’s at all hours of the day and night bc of my job and so thankful it’s open 24hrs. I spoke with the owner this morning to let him know what a great job his staff is doing. I came in at latte time, at 1:55, and lunch was closing at 2:30. The staff let me know when my order time was about to end, allowing me to finish my orders. So the service was good and thoughtful. They also give fortune cookies if you request one.

I was waited on by William, and it's thanks to him I was able to enjoy my lunch with some dessert and condiments like sriracha.

A few notes: the fried rice is a bit bland, but the beef stick (two pieces of beef on one stick) had a good flavor. For sushi, I tried salmon, white tuna, and shrimp; I ordered the shrimp the most. And the chicken katsu was like 1mm of chicken and the rest panko.”

I wasn’t in the mood for eggs that morning, so I ordered the homemade beef soup and a small Greek salad, both fresh, flavorful, and comforting, like something made at home.
And I just can’t skip mentioning the bathrooms....the sighn on the wall just reminded me how gorgeous i am 😁😁😁....Spotless, warm, and surprisingly charming.… and of course, I couldn’t resist commenting)))

A few hours later, already near Quebec, we suddenly realized we’d left our laptop behind. When we called Brigitte, the lovely owner answered right away even though the restaurant was closed. She was calm, kind, and reassuring, promising our laptop was safe and sound))))
We had to drive back, but honestly, her warmth and care made it feel less like a hassle and more like part of the adventure. Thank you, Brigitte, for the great food, kindness, and the kind of hospitality you rarely find these days.”

The past owner were of Asian nationality and the Chicken quality was top notch, and really fresh and hot. The new owners are east Indian nationality. Now, every piece of chicken has broken bones and blood throughout the meat. And it's not cooked properly, and soggy. Smells like the cooking oil was old as well. The staff was uninterested in working there, very sad employees.”

“I can count on one hand the number of times I have taken my 6yo son, who has ten food allergies and carries epipens, to a restaurant. Given our many hospital trips for anaphylaxis, it is a tremendously stressful thing for us to consider and the risks typically outweigh the benefits. After the isolation of the pandemic and considering my son is older now, we decided to try again. With no insistence on my part, our server Keegan took my son's ten food allergies very seriously: when he couldn't remember the ingredients for a menu item (most he knew in detail), he acknowledges that and checked labels without my asking, even brough some over for us to check ourselves. He also reassured us that he and the other staff members would thoroughly sanitize food prep areas and do everything in their power to ensure my kid had a safe and positive experience. He even got a bandaid for him at one point and helped put it on (adorable). I don't have words to describe how much I appreciate his service and what it means to me, personally, in a world where we've had to be so constantly hypervigilant around food. Thank you Keegan!!! Copper Branch - please give this guy a raise!!! We'll be back for sure. Many, many, many times.”

It was 1974 all over again. I’m hear working out of town but I will be back”
