Cold stale food. Absolute mess in the condiment area, dishes and trash everywhere. Not busy. Staff were nice, but either ill trained or short staffed. Seems like a management issue.

Had the worst experience in my life. I have been a regular customer at this a&w for years. Extreme heat wave… phone was dead my power out at home near by. Im type 1 diabetic my blood sugar was low needed I came to sit down for a few minutes to charge my phone amd see what sugary item I could buy to get my blood sugar up.She gave me the very dirtys looks the minute I even step foot in the door… She said you can’t be in here using wifi for free and charging here without a purchase. No empathy. As I was about to explain my situation, but I thought you know what I don’t owe this narcissistic woman a explanation for literally sitting down for a second….Yet there’s a homeless person sitting on the other side of restaurant and she lets him stay. No consideration? I was thinking of buying something too shortly. And she just turned me off with her evil manor. So I said hell no I’m going somewhere else where I’m not being called out as she is racist with me as I’m darker skinned. Seems to be nicer with people of only her race I guess…Whoever is in charge of being her manager contact me please this via email. I want to make a big compliant and report of this woman. Her approach was very disgusting. Stank attitude seems like if you want your order to be fixed or done right too.. seems like she tends to not help people when it’s reported to her that people’s got charged wrong or their food wasn’t cooked raw. Or what not. Please contact me. She needs to be written up. Hire better people who know how to deal with all customers in a professional curiosity manor not like we’re in highschool sitting around in a cafeteria. Please contact me. Never can get an order right, apparently cannot follow simple instructions. They answer the phone in a rude manner. Their food quality is poor every single time. I don't think I've had a nice hot meal from here once. Instead you get slanted and squished burgers, condiments all over the bun, stale buns, and the flattest root beer I've tasted. The customer service is very poor as well from all staff.

It's May 24th 2025 I just finished my meal. From the a&w at 1660 Heron road this is the second time that I've had. Problems with an a&w the other one was in Barrhaven. This is the last time I will go into an a&w in Ottawa. It seems like all the people that work there, work the same way. My first Burger was placed in the bag properly. The second Burger the bun was in the bag there was a . A piece of lettuce, instead of a bun covering the burger. And the burger what's all over the place. I will send an email to a&w Canada with the pictures attached. In the past couple years I've never seen so many businesses have so much bad customer service. NEVER Again 😞
