The vibe at this location is so positive and upbeat and the bonus was a hot fresh tasty meal. The staff is very consumer friendly. I’m impressed by the fact that you separate the garbage in to trash and compost. I think to take it up a notch. It would be useful to have pictures of all the things that are compostable above the containers. I understand from the staff that everything is compostable and yet I still see people putting articles in the trash. You guys are definitely a cut above all the other fast food chains.

Friday the 19th December 2025 I ordered once more and gave it another shot. The girl at the cash was wiping her nose every 5 seconds then touched the bread for breakfast. It was disgusting as you was also touching the cash without washing her hands The classic breakfast it was supposed to come with coffee and a hash brown. She did not give it to me that she wanted me to pay more money The eggs were rubbery. The hush brown was overcooked in the deep fryer threw out all my food Two times go in there. Never will go back there again
I ordered breakfast my pancakes were cold 🥶 And I ordered two orders of bacon so I should get six strips of bacon they don't know how to count I got four strips My hash browns were so oily the bag was soaked Only thing was okay was the iced coffee almost $19 it went in the garbage

Ordered an Egger & Cheese. Menu clearly says Egger & Cheese. What I got was something completely different. It was loaded with bacon. If the staff can’t read the order or the menu is misleading, that’s a failure on every level. It’s not complicated to prepare a basic breakfast sandwich correctly. I paid for food I couldn’t eat because someone couldn’t do the most elementary part of their job. In 2025, a major brand shouldn’t still be struggling with “read the order, make the order.” Fix the menu, fix the training, or expect more reviews like this. Use your brain if you even have one.

They forgot my food. I waited there for minutes but I didn't take it. They looked me in the eye but still didn't give me the food. They prepare it and throw it away. This is unacceptable. It was the worst experience I've ever had!

I can’t speak for the kitchen staff, but I think the employees working at the front are being forced to stay there. You can see in the first minute that they don’t want to work. Finally there's a 24-hour A&W in town. Ottawa is putting its big boy pants on. Everybody working here is pretty chill, and A&W burgers speak for themselves.

Stopped by this A&W in Ottawa and had a bit of a mixed experience. The highlight of the visit was definitely the apple turnover — fresh, warm, and perfectly flaky. It was surprisingly delicious for fast food and absolutely worth trying if you’ve got a sweet tooth.
Unfortunately, the Mama Burger didn’t quite measure up. The flavor was pretty average and it didn’t taste as fresh as what I’ve had at other A&W locations. The biggest downside, though, was the cleanliness of the dining area. Several tables were left uncleared and the space felt like it could use a bit more upkeep and attention.
Overall, it’s worth stopping in for the dessert, but don’t set your expectations too high for the rest of the meal.
I got Nashville combo with orange juice and sweet fries...greasy burger and watered down juice was just disgusting. The fries was a saving grace that is why I gave an extra star. AVOID even If you have late night craving.

I just ate here @ 2 a.m Sunday September 28th. Let me just say, you have two REALLY hard workers at your restaurant. The tall black dude and the shorter olive skinned man are just absolute rockstars, getting absolutely CRUSHED by Uber and walk ins.....I work in a kitchen and these guys need more skilled coworkers. I hope you pay them well because there's other places that would LOVE to have these guys working there.
