As a Franco-Belgian, I was quite disappointed by the quality of this French bakery. The croissant is about the same quality as Canadian croissants, to name but one. I have been disappointed by The galette des Rois as well, overcooked and the filling was more like a crème anglaise.

In my (expert !!) opinion this is the best pastry shop in Ottawa ... bar none. We ordered a St Honore for New Year's Eve and it was simply perfect ... as are all their daily pastries - the Paris-Brest being my personal favourite. A corner of France in Ottawa.

Amandine Patisserie is dangerously delicious! and dangerously close to my office. If not the best, it’s definitely one of Ottawa’s top spots for croissants. The almond croissant? Oh my goodness — so good it should come with a warning label. “The baked goods here are insanely good!” I try to walk off my lunch, but passing by Amandine turns every calorie-burning stroll into a pastry detour. The matcha latte with oat milk is my go-to pairing — pure bliss! My family loves every treat from here, and even my teen daughter brings her friends to hang out and croissant-binge. And the staff? so kind and friendly. I highly recommend Amandine to anyone who loves flaky, buttery joy. Diet? What diet? All the best to Amandine pâtisserie I’ll keep coming back!

Some of the best croissants in Ottawa, which can also be purchased frozen. Highly recommend the Pistachio Paris Brest and almond croissant.

Brilliant !! I love the fact that this place doesn’t force you to give big tips. It even has a 5% option, but that’s not why I love this place. The vanilla tart was soft and creamy, but not too sweet and my flat white couple of perfectly. Amazing pastries, and amazing coffees and other drink offerings. Will return soon.
