“Absolutely phenomenal food. Everything that I have tried has been great, and I am going to make my way through the full menu at some point. The noodles are chewy but light, and the broths and sauces are well composed. The prices are great as well! A real gem downtown.“

“The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered for takeout and the food was perfectly packed. We brought it home and it was eaten in minutes! My 5 year old daughter said it was the best Chinese food she’s ever had and LOVED the beef with black bean sauce and the shrimp spring rolls. She had the leftover chicken pad thai for lunch today. Highly recommend this place!“

“The food has been Wonderful! Like you are in Korea. The Kimchi was delicious, as was the exceptional Bulgogi and Jeyuk. The Dongas taste as good and tasty as a wienerschnitzel but then better! You go here for the food and friendly service. The ambiance is alright, but very clean!“

“This is my go-to spot for Hong Kong food. We have visited several times.
Highly recommend these dishes;
- #123 fried flat rice noodles with halal beef and bean sprouts, nice wok hei
- #36 lamb with cumin: crispy tender lamb. I actually prefer this cumin lamb dish over the one offered at the Kanata restaurant called Harbin because of how crispy and vibrant this one is :)
- Smashed lemon tea (beware of seeds). This drink is always good and fresh. Not too sweet either.
- curry fish balls (comes with 6) are good. The curry is so tasty and peppery.
- #8 pan fried buns were tasty and slightly crispy
Friendly and sweet service, they helped answer questions I had about allergens and are consistently pleasant. It’s well worth the short walk from Rideau for good Hong Kong cuisine.
Wait time for a table on a Saturday evening was less than 2 mins. If I’m in a rush, I just go up to the counter to order instead of waiting at my table because there’s often only 1 person working.
It’s a cozy spot close to Rideau with the best Hong Kong food in the area for decent prices. I think their bean sprouts noodles (gong chau ngau ho 乾炒牛河) rival the ones offered on Merivale ;)

They also have combo dishes. This restaurant doubles as a small grocery store with shelf stable and frozen foods. Theres a small atrium some use to park their bicycles.“

“Every time we order from here the food is always so delicious and plentiful. Over the last few years we must have tried 20 to 30 dishes. All were top notch. We try to order at least once a month. Great value and service.“
