We were a party of 13 and were celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. Our server seemed annoyed she had our table. I don’t think she smiled once. The food was not great. The rib racks were tiny and people were still hungry after their meal. Our server did not come back to our table after delivering our food. Our group of 10 had lunch at the Baton Rouge on December 10, and we were disgusted beyond belief. The food was mediocre. My dish was just lukewarm and the $10 side salad was missing key ingredients, plus they had to be reminded to bring the salad dressing. The main complaint is regarding the service, particularly at the end when they were disorganized and kept insisting that we hadn't all paid (which we had). The servers and reception were excellent! The prime rib sandwich was missing the onions and cheese (manager replaced it), my prime rib was grey (manager said they boiled it), the filet mignon ordered well, was dry and tough (The Keg can do a well filet and keep it soft! Manager said he never recommendes it be ordered well because they “cook the living crap out of it!), the truffle fries had canola oil instead of truffle oil, the poutine had cubes of mozzarella instead of curds....read full review
