Extremely Disappointing Experience at Bash’s Food Truck – Poor Management and Zero Consideration

I had a terrible experience with Bash’s food truck at the Ottawa Poutine Festival. After patiently lining up for nearly an hour, just as we were finally about to be served, the staff abruptly announced—without any warning—that they were closing. This was well over an hour before the festival was scheduled to end, and every other truck was still open and serving.

There was no explanation, no apology—just a dismissive “too bad, we can’t serve you anymore.” This speaks volumes about their lack of preparation, poor customer service, and total disregard for the time and experience of festival-goers.

Thankfully, the truck next door was still running smoothly and served us right away. But the time wasted at Bash’s was frustrating and avoidable. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone until they learn how to manage crowds and treat customers with basic respect.

I booked Bash for my birthday party based on the reviews and I'm so happy I did!! The food was excellent and he was professional, warm and very friendly....the food was prepared to order and so fast! People are STILL talking about the food and how good it was...I was very, very happy. Don't hesitate!

Tried for the first time their sweet chili wrap and was really impressed. Each bite you take is full of flavors and you can't but help yourself to want to take a second biteWorth giving it a shot, very enjoyable

They were so nice and the food was even better. The chicken bacon rancher poutine is the best poutine I ever had. Great job guys and keep up the good work

Great poutine and wraps, definitely worth a try

WOW!!!! I just ate here for the first time and wow what a meal... Crispy chicken poutine and Texas burger were amazing, ate at baton rouge yesterday and I wish I had saved the money to eat here 10 more times, this place is a must for lunch.

As I am a chef in the (Food truck) industry, I always make an effort to check out new places I see, especially when they are on wheels! The owner was friendly and the food was hot, fast and tasty! He loaded us up with extra fries and even gave us a little discount on our meal. I recommend stopping by!
