Stayed at the hotel for Christmas and it was great. The room was a bit small, but very comfortable. The shower was great and loved the quality of the toiletries and products provided.
The rooms are also very quiet, I knew the room beside was occupied but I never heard anything.
The staff was nice, helpful, kind.
The restaurant is fantastic!
Only downside, there is no pool or spa. But, I will definitely be returning in my future travels.

Based on recent reviews, the Metcalfe Hotel Ottawa by Gray Collection offers a great stay with clean rooms and tasteful decor. Guests appreciated the turndown service, fluffy towels, bath robes, and a very comfortable bed. The staff are friendly and helpful, and successfully resolved booking problems. The location is downtown in a cute spot, walkable to the parliament and CF shopping mall. Some guests noted the soundproofing is practically non existent, though it is quiet at night. The gym is not functional and shows no sign of being worked on. Parking can be a challenge; guests were told options were $47 valet or $26 at City Hall, but the building behind the hotel offers $28 overnight parking with free EV chargers. Overall, a lovely experience with warm hospitality.
