We hosted a small team gathering here for about 20 people. They set us up in a little side room that was private. Some food was ready as soon as we arrived, along with a very attentive server. Great spot with a great service. The courtyard has a nice patio in the summer too. Definitely recommend you booking your next team social here!

Visited the new taproom last week and I was impressed. Had the Gyoza and the duck and both dishes were amazing. The beer was great as to be expected. Had Giselle take care of me and she was just fantastic, great service and great chats. I will be back!

The food was quite bad. The burger meat was quite thick and disc-like, almost resembling the 20-pack Costco beef burgers sold frozen. The fried chicken sandwich was full of sauce, and the liquid seeped onto the plate and made a mess, such that it was impossible to eat it by holding it, had to use a knife and fork. Hot honey sauce was pancake-maple-syrupy and not hot at all. Also the fries made my blood pressure peak as they were salted beyond normal.
The beers are alright, but even their fruity wheat ale had no wheat-ale signature taste, smoky colour or fruit flavour (grapefruit as advertised). The IPAs were alright but they were just that. Atmosphere is OK nothing too good or bad about it.

We hosted our wedding dinner at Beyond the Pale, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the very beginning, Julia made the entire planning process seamless, she was incredibly organized, responsive, and genuinely cared about making our celebration perfect. Tucked away in the back streets of Ottawa, this is a gem of a building.... Top shelf customer service, seated immediately....refills without asking, nice touch....kale salad was spot on and poutine was yummy....prices are competitive and reasonable....

A bit hard to get to currently due to the renovations taking place but worth the effort. When the courtyard/patio is finished, I'll definitely be going back. There's a great selection of craft beer and the staff is really friendly.

Stumbled upon this place walking around. Wings were crunchy. Mussels frites was good. Came here at 6pm and place was quiet. It picked up a lot at 7pm. Not sure if ppl here just eat dinner later.
