DO NOT BRING BALLONS HERE. APPARENTLY THERES BEEN ISSUES WITH BALLONS BUT THERE IS NO MENTION OF IT ANYWHERE. Left a very sour taste in my mouth as it was a surprise birthday party. Ended up forgetting them as they were left/kept at the front. What a disappointment and waste of money.
However food was FANTASTIC and highly recommend. Just don't bring ballons 😉

The black dog is the best! The food is impeccable, and service is outstanding. Karen was the best server, and was very attentive to our needs. Shelly greeted us with Christmas’s cheer and we felt so welcome.

It’s always a great experience going to Black Dog Bistro. Delicious food, great service, and to me the desserts are always the highlight.
My partner and I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and cajun salmon salad. I don’t normally order a salad when I go out, but this one is completely worth it. Every bite was heaven.
For dessert we ordered the chocolate peanut butter cup and coconut cream pie. The coconut cream pie is always my go to dessert, amazing and flavourful every time. The chocolate peanut butter cup is light and airy. Love coming here.

We go to this spot often and we are never disappointed! Last night we went for my husband’s birthday and brought our 3 young kids. As always the staff was warm and friendly and the food was excellent. Our server in particular was lovely. He was so kind and caring with our children that one of my kids asked at the end of the meal, "Is he our friend now?" So shoutout to Simon!

Organized a family lunch birthday celebration for a group of 17 people. It was a pleasure to deal with Josh (manager) to organize the lunch. Everything about the lunch was fantastic. My guests enjoyed the food (Notably their burger, fish tacos and lamb shank). We had the upstairs floor and it was like we were in our home celebrating with the benefits of being at a restaurant. The service was top notch, the environment was great and the food was delicious. Could not have asked for more. Great restaurant !
